Are you able to do this build on a metal ocean platform
@@aaronbunke7173 the metal ocean platform is bigger. It could still work you might just have longer/larger rooms.

Telling ppl to be careful to not pick up the platform is a great tip. Too many times this has happened to me. Usually late at night as well.
Haha yeah me too. Another great way to avoid that is to actually cause a little bit of damage to the platform. Then you won't be able to pick it up.
I love the look of this build. The use of stone and wood just looks better to me than metal. Can’t wait try it.

Tip when building on an ocean plaform:
As ChipZz said, you want to be careful not to pick up the platform itself while building (or even after, for that matter). To protect against this, use any weapon to damage the platform. I typically hit mine once with a pike. As long as you can do 1 point of damage, you won't be able to pick it up without repairing it first.
This will help protect you from accidentally picking up that platform.

I still have PTSD from the time I finished a week long build on a platform, went to pick up a stray ceiling tile, but picked up the platform instead

If you build the argy pen a bit bigger and don't use a hatch frame the Griffins fit just a bit tricky but still working on it so atm the Griffin is in a box poor thing or something I'm thinking may work in a tek behemoth gate at each level but it is not a pretty picture in my head lol

i liked the build but i have a problem with that stone wall behind the railinging i can't get it and i hate having to do something when i am not a expert also i haven't played in awhile so im still getting back into it
It can be a little tricky. Try practicing it in single player with creative mode enabled
Might be worth stating in the materials description it's a wooden platform needed the metal one is twice as big. Here I am following your step by step got to the pillars and I've only covered half the front

I'm not an expert on servers or anything but it would seem your servers structure limit for platforms must be messed up. The server I built this on is all set to official settings and I had no issues.

I think my ocean platform is bigger than the one In the video I did what it said and even did a comparison with the pictures next to each other but mine still doesn't reach both corners
Yeah there are two different ocean platforms. If you're using the bigger one you just need to make the build bigger to match.
