Arguably a bit slow in arriving, this is the follow-up to 2021's Moominland Midwinter (also on the channel) broadcast at Christmas 2023, two years after the first play. Personally, this is the first Moomins book that I ever read and I was immediately struck by the extraordinary balance of the whimsical and the apocalyptic as the inhabitants of Moominvalley discover that the end of the world may be imminent...
