    Did paint correction and ceramic coat on my GT for TH-cam not so long ago. It’s holding up very well. I will use the Graphene spray when it the water bead gets less. The best part is using the ceramic on the trim, really transformed those pieces.

    This is a great video. It’s always good to see people do this stuff themselves. Can you believe some people pay well over 1000.00 for this? If I was to give some advice to anyone watching this who is new to this, use different polish and pads. Use Rupes polish and matching pads. They have both foam and micro fiber. I’ve been detailing for a long time and these are games changers. Rupes stuff is cutting edge is pads and polishes…good stuff for sure. Nice job on this.

      Thank you! It’s quite the process for sure but thanks for the tips! I would love a Rupes set up! They look really nice!

      @@daily_driven Just to be clear, Im not talking about the machine. Im only talking about the pads and the liquids. Yeah the polisher is great. I use my machines a lot and to be honest I still dont have a Rupes either...

    Looks great. Local shop was going to charge 8K to coat my Dark Horse. But after seeing this I'll definitely do it myself. Thanks for showing this!

      Wow 8k!! That’s crazy! Yeah it’s really not too bad. The paint prep is definitely the most time consuming part.

      8 K is insane. What are they doing repainting parts of it too?

    How much are you paying a month for the car if you don’t mind me asking.

    I got a 24 GT with racing stripes (decals). Can you apply this stuff on the decals?

      I believe so! But I would check with Adam’s polishes on that just to be sure 👍

    You really don’t need to cut and buff a bran new car before applying the ceramic. If the car is new with no imperfections you can just wash it and apply the ceramic

    • @daily_driven
      @daily_driven  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s true only if your car has no imperfections. I to be honest thought getting a brand new car, it would have perfect paint. This was definitely not the case for my car. It had what looked like marks on it from the protective plastic film they put on it for shipping. But yeah if the paint is good then for sure you can skip that step 👍
