2024 Utah State USPSA

Gun problems kept me from shooting Limited Optics for the 2024 Utah State USPSA match. While I was at the range trying to fix the issue, I happened to be zeroing a new dot on my PCC for an upcoming team match. The rifle ran, the pistol did not, so I just threw up my hands and made the obvious choice.
Since I've never actually shot a PCC match before, I feel OK about an 8th place finish in a field with 5 GMs. One thing that was immediately clear was that I didn't shoot nearly aggressive enough. My early stages especially just look lazy, and my two stage wins were ironically on very short courses where I generally don't do as well.
Either way, I had am awesome time shooting with staff and seeing a bunch of friends. The stages were excellent, the presentation was amazing, and the people at this match were just awesome. I can't say enough about what an great match those guys put on the ground. It made me want to take USPSA seriously instead of just treating it like 3 gun practice.
