Zach, your style of teaching is unlike I have ever seen. I absolutely love the way you draw it out, explain it in a way that is retained and reinforce the concepts. This fosters a DEEP understanding that stays with me and carries through when applying. I don't just memorize and forget it after exams. I also fully appreciate how you don't just read powerpoint slides (like so many of my professors do and just put us to sleep!). Keep at it! We need you to help us better help our future patients!
As a dietetic student, I never knew why an S/S of diabetes was excessive urination. I'm only 14 minutes in, and my mind is blown. That makes SO MUCH SENSE!
Hello Zach, I'm a french graduated APN specialized in CKD, Dialysis and kidney transplant follow up. I'd like to thank you and your team for all this content, very helpful during my courses. It's a pleasure to watch your videos as a reminder. Many thanks from France 😊
I'm just a dude struggling with Kidney stones. Low GFR trying to understand what's happening in my body. These are a little above me but clear enough after watching I can understand. Thank you for this content!
From pre-medical to the final year of my medical career and still wanna go on with you ❤❤❤… I love you and your entire team …. I hope I meet you at least one time….
Your videos help me explain complex information to patients I see so much better and when they can understand what is happening and how the food they choose can improve/resolve what they are experience, it is a game changer. But the absolute coolest part of this specific video was the little moments you let us know you can sing!!! :) :)
Hey, i’m from India🇮🇳. I’ve been watching your videos since one year and it helped me a lot. I’m a student so it’s been really hard to become a member due to financial issues. I love your videos a lot & i’m scoring great in my academics. I request you to please cover all the techniques in detail like PCR , RDT, HPLC , and protein purifying techniques. I’m very eager to learn those from you as the clarity you bring in your videos is commendable. Once i’ll achieve my goal which is not too far now i’m definitely going to come and meet you once. I respect you a lot. Thank you for existing. Love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳
Nobody teaches the way you do Prof. Zach Murphy! Thank you thank you thank you. I am not a medical student, I wish. I am someone with ongoing quest for knowledge and to hopefully find the underlying cause(s) of my chronic nerve pain, have seen over a dozen physicians, nobody can help me. Just prescribing medications. I don’t have much money to subscribe I’m on disability income. I tell all my friends to tell their kids in med school to subscribe to you. I share your podcasts/lectures to everyone. You are a gift to this world ! God bless you, your family and team. I am grateful beyond words. Aloha from Oahu, Hawaii Ps Your Hawaiian shirt is so cool. CKD is defined in two different ways and as u mentioned one is Abnormal RFTs or KFTs and other one is Radiological evidence Medically evident features of CKD like Renal atrophy and hypotrophy i mean Architerural Alternations. Inorder to call it as CKD all these features has to be present persistently for about 3 months or more and less than this called RPRF which has a time duration of about weeks to less than 3 months and less than weeks to within 3 days is AKI
