3D Printed Resistor Lead Forming Tool for Electronics

Chuck 3D prints four different designs for forming resistor leads when building electronic kits. There are several different versions on Thingiverse so he prints some on his CR-10 and does a bend off to determine which one works best on this weeks Filament Friday.

I don't understand how the transistor one is any different than shoving it into your PCB and forming the leads there. It's just an extra step.

Please tell the transitor(3leg pin) bending works.just u insert the transistor and then you take out. How it works
