The Ajmer rape case involved the serial rapes and blackmailing of girls by local gang in Ajmer, Rajasthan in 1992. It is one of sexual exploitation scandals.[2][3][1] The scandal involved young girls. The news of the scandal broke after a local paper, ‘Dainik Navajyoti’ published some nude images and a story about school students being blackmailed by local gangs.[4]
      1992 Ajmer serial rape
      Location
      Ajmer, Rajasthan, India
      Coordinates

      Type
Sexual abuse and blackmailing (Estimated 250 (1991-1992, according to the media report) aged approximately 11-20
      Reporter
Deenbandhu Chaudary and Santosh Gupta, Dainik Navajyoti. [1]
      Inquiries
      Rajasthan Police (1992-2021)
      Trial
Rajasthan High Court and Supreme Court of India
      Convictions
5 of the accused convicted, including Farooq Chishtee.
The investigation of the case was stalled by police under political pressure as the main accused, Farooq Chishtee, belonging to the Khadims of Ajmer Sharif Dargah, was president of the Ajmer Indian Youth Congress.[5] Eventually, 18 serial offenders were charged in court. 8 were convicted for life and 4 among them were later acquitted in 2001.[6] In 2007, a fast track court in Ajmer convicted Farooq Chishti, but in 2013, Rajasthan High Court released him on time served.[7]
"The accused were in a position of influence, both socially and financially, and that made it even more difficult to persuade the girls to come forward and depose," says retired Rajasthan D.G.P. Omendra Bhardwaj, who was then posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ajmer.[8] The Supreme Court noted in this case, "Unfortunately many of the victims who appeared as witnesses turned hostile and one can appreciate the reason why they did not want to depose against the appellants as that would have exposed them as well, and would have adversely affected their future life."[8] The case has been compared to the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal.[citation needed]

Stirring food with wooden utensils is safer than using plastic or nylon which leach chemicals and BPA into hot food- heck I'd rather eat food that had a wooden ladder in it over heated plastic. The man who climbed down to get the food was wearing clean coverings over his shoes. You would be shocked at how "sanitary" many restaurants are.

The Indian tradition of cooking in big batches is a wonderful way to help the less fortunate and promote equality. However, they should also consider the safety of the cooks involved. With such large pots, there's a risk of someone accidentally falling in and getting cooked even before he was pulled out😮‍💨 To prevent this, they could atleast make the lids higher or have the cooks wear aprons with secure ties.

Many temples in my state (Uttarakhand) host grand feasts cooked in smaller batches over many days but not even the 'white devotees' from many Western countries (especially the US and the UK) face any issues. On the flip side, my cousins from the USA fall ill even after eating home-cooked food and drinking filtered water in India.

Its a tribute to Indian culture , in-spite of being 80% Hindus , every religion is not only respected but the people participate in the ceremonies regardless of their faith , 1,400 million people , Hindus , Muslims , Sikhs , Christians , Buddhist , Jains , Jews , Zohorastor's & Atheists , all call this great nation as their own .

Lot of incorrect information in this video. This is not a temple but a Islamic shrine of a Sufi Invader. The word prasad means the offering you get from Hindu gods and temples. The Narrator is calling it a temple and the rice as Prasad. It's either ignorance or sinister propaganda.

A small section of people in India eat at these kind of places, yes it is unsanitary but a lot of people in India prefer hygienic food, but all these videos of these unsanitary practices make it seem like everyone indulges in that type of thing

Sometimes it feels like the western media intentionally highlights the worst of the worst in India, some our cities are just as modern as any western cities, why don't you show some highly rated restaurants from those cities.

I didn’t get this from the video. It was presented that people only eat this for religious purposes, or out of necessity.
