Im a child of a retired licensed auto mechanic at Ford for 20 years. My father helped start one of the first unions back in the 1970s when they wouldnt give health insurance and paid time off. I was just 4 years old bringing my father lunch with my mother in hot garages in summer that smelled like gasoline and fumes, I saw my father come home with burned hands and even got battery acid in his eye once and never shed a tear. Because of his fight his team was able to get health benefits for our family, paid time off to take us on vacations and paid time and a half so he could pay for our higher education. I support these guys and gals who bust their butts to make these dealerships successful while putting food on the table to take care of their families. Im a child of a retired licensed auto mechanic at Ford for 20 years. My father helped start one of the first unions back in the 1970s when they wouldnt give health insurance and paid time off. I was just 4 years old bringing my father lunch with my mother in hot garages in summer that smelled like gasoline and fumes, I saw my father come home with burned hands and even got battery acid in his eye once and never shed a tear. Because of his fight his team was able to get health benefits for our family, paid time off to take us on vacations and paid time and a half so he could pay for our higher education. I support these guys and gals who bust their butts to make these dealerships successful while putting food on the table to take care of their families.
