Hello I just stumbled across your channel. You and your husband were having a conversation about cultures. You said something that really resonated with me. "Just let people be" respect their and don't think that every has to emulate western society. I travel a lot and find myself wanting to change/help people. Learn to step back and appreciate/respect other cultures. Take off your western Lens. Thank you for sharing that thought.
Knowing how much you love your plant babies, I wanted to share a little advice. Water them only when the Sun goes down. Watering during the heat of the day stresses your plants. If you do water when the Sun is up, do not get the leaves wet, because the sun will dry them up. Use the leaves that are on the ground to put around each plant for mulch. The mulch will keep the roots damp longer and will attract worms, which is good for the plant. Happy growing, no stressing! Peace and blessings to you!
Sweetie I love you for trying. As an African woman, I understand why the other women cackled at the accident. One thing for sure, ...........you are never gonna live that down. Start with a smaller pot, master your balance and go on from there. It is fantastic for developing grace and the perfect posture. As for your man, kudos to him. He stood immovable like a block of granite for you to hold on to whe you were slipping and almost falling in the water, then he helped raise the bucket to your head..........and earned himself a shower for his trouble😂😂😂🤣.
I agree! I was looking for that comment. For the first try it was too much load. And with a lower and smaller bucket it would have been easier. I have never been to Africa (I would like to visit Ghana one day), but there are also other cultures around the Mediterranean Sea who carry loads on the head. I tried it as a guest in a South Italian mountain village many years ago, where women carried the washed clothes back home from the washing place. The young generation can't do it anymore because they are used to washing machines.

This is funny! The VimMan & ES Comedy Show. I used to fetch water from the spring, river, and communal tank in Jamaica. We also collected rain water from the roof 🌧️. I remember certain time of the year, we would have water shortages, and we had to travel miles going down into a deep valley to get water 🌊💦. I had to carry that container on my head for miles coming up out of the valley into the sun. When I got home, my neck felt stiff... But as children, we also had some fun, picking mangos, guava, ginips, passion fruits, sugar cane and lots more. It was hard work, but sometimes I reminisced about that rustic way of life.

The no water from the tap, the fetching of water from the dam I know all about that. I’m from Jamaica and growing up in the country we did this a lot going to the rivers and springs. Great content. 🇳🇬 Is the country I will make my home . My family here says why? My Spirit had told me years ago it would be my home. At least you all have TRUE ownership
There’s so much joy and laughter in this video, as an African American woman, this shit is bitter sweet. On one hand, it’s so beautiful and pure, with moments like these, how can a partnership not last. But it makes me sad, Bc my boyfriend and I are so far removed from the motherland. From that laughter. We sit in this house in the city, and receive our “community joy” through text messages and social media. Our moments are not filled with working together for every day life, but on laptops, in opposite sides of the house.
This video kept me reminiscing about those nostalgic moments when I’d sometimes wake up as early as 5am to go fetch water from the Navdoc of the naval base with my older siblings. The beauty of it is the feeling of wanting get home first to pour out the water. Sometimes it felt fun at times it feels like punishment. It was the best exercise of our time and can’t even count the number of times I slipped and got my clothes wet. 😂😂😂 thanks for sharing this content.

@@dazedconfuseds You can both make it 😊 They were a lot of things here. The bucket was not in a middle of the head. The surface of the head too was not flat because of how the hair was tied. Also mostly the readiness to receive that weight on your head, the form the bucket (it is long) and knowing when to move and take the first step, the water and the bucket was still shaking. You have to receive the bucket and wait a bit. ❤️

Lol he got his shower for the day, I laughed so hard. What a beautiful couple. God Bless you two🤗
Baptismal of fire. 🔥 You are truly home my dear. If the locals are laughing at your not so serious mishap, they see you as one of them. It made me laugh too. Life is too short, enjoy it. I like that your partner is supportive.
Ps: you might want to invest in water distiller.
Thanks for the laugh my American sista. You’ll get it with practice. You are new to the African lifestyle. I’m in America and I never been to Africa. I really don’t think I could adapt to that lifestyle. But anything is possible! What a strong woman you are. And what a lovely couple you guys are as well.
You're next in line I will bring you to Africa and give you the love the world as never seen before.
It depends the town
Am East African (Tanzanian🇹🇿) in NYC🇺🇸 and this made me miss my mother land! AFRICA ♥️
U have made me laugh so hard that am disturbing the peace of my neighbors
I'm in tears 😂🤣 laughing so hard
I love your videos, I am a Nigerian woman living in USA, I missed home so much

Me too from Delta
🇳🇬 Is the country I will make my home . My family here says why? My Spirit had told me years ago it would be my home. At least you all have TRUE ownership
@@keemamack7955 have you visited before?
@Fati Abdul Rashid No, I've not yet. But planning as I have IFA agendas coming home.
This is the episode I like the most. The scene by that river, so natural, so amazing! I laughed like a crazy 😄😄😄
Chanced on your channel and I must admit you just made my day... Real laughter from this experience you had in the village settings. This is priceless
There's hope. Take a look @ "TEOTW" videos on TH-cam, a change is coming.
Thank you sis💙
I love each and every video. Sending you and your family love and blessings all the way from Wichita Kansas....
We ❤️you in 🇿🇦and thank you for ❤️us here in Africa as a whole, enjoy your new lifestyle
This is the best video for me. Cracked me up, laughing. I love the u re so down-to-earth.
You guys are tooo funny. I can't hahahaha. 😆😂😆😂😂😂
LOLOLOL!!!! I remember going to fetch water as a child! LOL! It was fun I remember! He didn't do the padding right lololol! But I love your relationship with each other, I LOVE your house, your property! Great video! Thank you for sharing it!

Oh ES...lol...my sister...lol....you tried. That was so funny.
Vinman is a very calm patient man. I just love how he is with you.
Too funny .....with the water spill. I enjoyed that. I cant stop laughing. Lol
It was interesting to watch how your husband responded to you after the water spilled on him. Those ladies filled the air and their bellies with laughter but, he took it in stride and still treated you with tenderness. I loved seeing that dynamic. Grow together in love family. May God bless and keep you both.
😂😂😂😂😂 that was so funny! Thanks for making me laugh like I haven’t in a long long while! Must say, I love the way you’re embracing the village life ❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you for the laughs! From the time you put your feet into the water and nearly fell entering AND exiting I knew there was a possibility of a disaster.😂😂😅. LOVE your hair. The color is beautiful on you. I don't know how you do farming and maintain that Beautiful sensational look. As Vim Man said everything is possible
Bro this episode was comedic gold!!!
The world is interesting. See the women laughing, full of balance laughing without their hands holding the bowls full of water.
👌
It's her posture, they way she aligned her body. She's upright. Mine isn't great, so it would fall for me too....Like Comment Subscribe
@@dazedconfuseds You can both make it 😊
They were a lot of things here.
There you go, key word..Balance lol I’m happy I found this page!!!!
The main thing is, she is trying and giving it a go. She is adapting to her environment which is awesome ✌️
Okay!.... THAT was hilarious!.... 🤣
He got "drenched".... 👏🏽👏🏽😂 I'm dying!!!
