    These are by far the best guns Kimber has ever made.

    Just purchased the Dawn in 10mm. Going to celebrate our independence at the range shooting it.

    I owned a Dan Wesson and a Colt 1911 along with this. The Kimber is my favorite one to shoot. I got it in a 9mm and shoots really flat and the trigger is crisp. One thing I did do was to have a gunsmith fitted a nighthawk stainless barrel to it. Not necessary unless you don’t like the gold barrel look. Kimber has a winner in the Rapide line up.

    I recently received this pistol as a gift, it looks and feels awesome. The firearm has some weight to it and the trigger is excellent.

    Really thick bull barrel for that 9mm, I have three 45acp and it's not nearly that thick. Now my TLE Pro II is a bushingless hand fitted bull barrel Commander sized very nice gun i got in a trade.

      @flyinfr33domfreedom2  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @troyelder56 I believe it's the same OD as a standard government 45 barrel, just with the smaller hole you absolutely get a thicker barrel wall. It should last a lifetime. Thanks for watching.

      Unfortunately these handguns are very expensive and I'm unsponsored. I do plan to make a full review of this pistol at some point and pretty much everything I say in the review could be said about the scorpous, just different aesthetics.

      Wondering what your experience was in breaking it in, i.e. only using ball ammo for 500 rounds, etc. I just bought mine in .45 ACP. I like that this is a true 70s series, and I wouldn't have wanted it, if it came with a full length guide rod. Obviously, it should have come with two mags.

    None of my 1911 ejection ports have tooling marks like that in them, so it can't really be that common. Only 1911s I've seen that on were really low end models like ria and metro arms. Pretty bad that Kimber can't get that right. This Kimber costs more than my TRP did, and is nowhere near as cleanly done as my TRP.

    I must have gotten a bad one. The trigger on mine is very gritty. My $800 springfield has a better stock trigger than this $1700 gun. Fit and finish is good but that is where it ends for me
