Better watch the whole video since I just caught the end of the premiere. Lmao 🤣🍻👍. Some of the cows I bought due in April have started calving now, but they’ve been doing good. We move them to a new field as they calve here too. Put them into their summer pasture groups.
The blues weight were from 92 to 109 we AI'd five of our bigger charolius cows and they all calved on their own we had a good calf crop with two sets of twin to the short horn cows
Moviing calves by yourself is like pushing a wet noodle up a hill
LMAO 😂 That might be easier then chasing them nose lickers solo!😱

It's a good practice in our experience. Rarely do we have problems once they r moved to a larger pasture area once they r bonded.
@@PrairieSunsetRanch absolutely. Fresh ground sure cuts the chances of a scours outbreak. We only treat a couple cases a year here.
Hello Aron we are in North central Pa and we have seven cows yet to calve out of seventy three we even have five charliou Belgium blue cross calves 😊
Oh awesome! Are the Belgium blue cross smaller or larger framed? Was it a fairly successful calving year and calf crop?
Yeah Aron the blues weit

Sounds like wonderful weather. Whats the moisture level like?

Snows all gone. Suppose to get chilly at nights next 5 days
But been a mild winter easy on feed
Been colder here last week or so then it was earlier in winter. Did we ever save a lot of hay and feed 👌 with this mild winter
