Thank you for more tips! I knew about the world grid but did not know the others are considered grids as well. To your point about grass, Unreal Engine has a special set up for world builders required in order to hide grass called Runtime Virtual Texturing ( RVT ) but I do not know if this allows players to do so when placing items (aka actors) in their world. Grass is usually foliage that is painted over the landscape. Not being able to hide the grass (aka foliage) is a very common complaint.

Very nice! Sometimes, I wonder how this game would look without road barriers, catwalks, and pillars...

    1. Get Infinite Nudge.
    2. Move Miner onto World Grid.
    3. Everything aligns.
    :P

      sure, but consider this:
What about those who don't use mods or advanced options at all?
What if you want to align the directions of your factories to something that is not the world grid?

@@jackblade281 I have been there. Factories that do not align are a headache to 'join' via bridges or bus lines. It created a lot of problems unless you define your own grid and keep to it.

@@KenzoLeong Yes, but it is still a great challenge for builder type players who enjoys that headache
