This might have been the English version on Channel 4. They would edit out chair shots etc all the time *Edit : yes you can see it says T4 at the beginning
It used to play in Oz really late. I remember Nitro starting at 9 and ending at midnight. Sometimes 9.30. I believe some wwe programs would play later than that. On one channel, wwe; on another, one of the Jason films. It was a hell of a time.
@kazman_6899 I would go back now if I could. The little things helped build up the excitement to a main event. You could get some very exciting midcarders on the roster worth watching like taka and funaki, Dean Malenko, Tajiri, Head APA and Steven Richards.
@@DackDavenport Here's the thing: They didn't advertise the undercard. They just threw them out there. You had to tune in or you missed out. The right mix has always been to advertise the top of the card, and give it a creative arc. That's the draw for the casuals and the TV audience. The smarks get the undercard. No graphics. No advertising.
Coach gives away that William regal is going to take on the hardcore champion Steve Blackman and then by the way William Regal was speaking, they then all of a sudden pretend like they don't know who his opponent is. Coach Botched that one up
Yea the commentary wasn't live they would add in different commentary later for the English channel 4 version of heat. I remember sometimes watching it back then and you would see no commentators sat at the desk but could hear them talking
Two underrated talents
Attitude at it's best! Thank you!
4:05 he's one of the few wrestlers that could do the 'skin the cat' move
Why did they turn the camera back then? That's literally the first I've seen in he "attitude era" turning the camera away from a belt shot

I used to stay up late and watch sunday night heat. Especially prior to a ppv.

Was this the episode where there was 3 or 4 title matches on Heat? Good times
"Nice move.." 😂

@@ReanimatorsMutilations Damn that's actually pretty damn interesting. Thanks for that info. Never knew.
Wait... *THAT'S* how it ends?? No title change cuz of a DQ off-camera? And then the commentators just move on to other shit immediately 🤣🤣
This was the English version of heat that was heavily edited
Happened so much back then bc they don't want either wrestler to take a loss, especially on a B show
Coach was such an awful commentator...
His look sucks as well.
And an awful interviewer too, unless he was interviewing The Rock.
