JAN DISMAS ZELENKA { LOUNOVICE 1679-1745 DRESDE } MISERERE CONDUCTOR A- TSALIUK, MOSCOU ORATORIO MUSICA VIVA .
you probably dont care but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother these days :)
Yes it sounds odd indeed. But I must admit that this interpretation is a very good one far from the others in which the orchestra plays too far. Here we hear an dramatic and massive music which fits to the latin text miserere mei Deus.
I disagree with you. Dombrecht is too quick (like many) an misses the majesty of the music. Slavic voices here are just right, especially in the lower ranges.

It sounds massive and rather slow which is well appreciated indeed.
A new interesting angle on Zelenka.

magnificent.
Yes i agree with you Willy Similä, this was too much odd for my ears.
Dombrechts interpretation is still the outstanding!
Have you heard any bach's work by Glenn Gould?
The choir drowns the music. I think the Il Fondamento, Il Fondamento and Paul Dombrecht from 2012 is a much better recording

@@stephenhall3515 Dombrecht is good start to Zelenka and Baroque music but this is better.
