Today is our first day of snowboarding in New Zealand. We traveled eight thousand miles from Whistler to Queenstown to get back in winter. The resort were snowboarding at is called Cardrona which hosts some of the biggest snowboard contest in New Zealand. Today I'm riding with TJ and our good friend David Jones who also makes snowboard vlogs for TH-cam. Our goal for the day is to easy our way back into snowboarding and explore some of this new mountain. The highlight so far has been the epic scenery here and also the terrain park setup at Cardrona. It’s my first day on the mountain tomorrow and I would love for you to do a similar video to the one you did with the girls, first day riding! My current confidence levels to succeed tomorrow is because of your beginner videos!

I broke my wrist exactly 1 year ago at cardrona, medical staff were brilliant and cant wait to go back next year. Love it in new zealand

welcome bro. come ski the volcano in the north island (mt ruapehu) id recommend going whakapapa though as a avalanche took out the top lift at turoa side. enjoy our beautiful country. safe travels.

Your snowboard clips are always good you gotta try fergburger in Queenstown👌 I was there last year around this time it only produced 19cm on the one day out of 7 days but was a great trip your hometown whistler when I was there last year around February 2nd for 8 nights produced 112cm over the 8 nights can’t beat whistler 👌 great vids keep them coming 👍

mount buller in australia has had some of the best snow ever, 3 m base and its epic to shred
snag pfft! Would recommend they stay well clear of Buller! Falls creek hotham or the nsw majors. Buller suxs not because of the mountain but the people. Small compared to what they know as well.

Hey Kevin, for days that you're not riding with a backpack or any sort of storage (aside from pockets) and have your go-pro poles/gimbles - what do you do with them when you're trying to get a few laps in without worrying about shots and filming. Do you just hold them while you ride? Something ive been trying to find a solution for recently cause i love filming with the pole but sometimes I wanna put it away and just shred without having to hold anything but I have nowhere to keep it on me
