I was nearby there that day, there was 45cm new snow and no wind that night (which normally blows it all away by the morning). Super soft and amazing! It was a lovely way to end the Spring season!
@@charcuteribecause @spacemonkey7461 is a pro rider and he ride only burton high end stuffs, cause they are better than anything else, or prolly because his mind is stuck at ‘80 with normal classic bindings(nothing wrong with that) and he doesnt need any upgrade 🤷♂️ U choose 😊

But then again, f*ck gatekeeping and if he likes it, all the more power to him: Whatever floats his boat.
I cannot wait until I start learning this winter! Still have to find some cheap but good bindings, the ones I bought are old k2 step ins but the boots that came with it were broken, and I couldn’t find any replacements. But none the less I’m excited! Definitely one of my favorite creators on TH-cam!
Kev, see you in hukuba for snowmachine and great pow in march. My wife and i where at cardrona at the end of August for the junior world championship. It was hot but the snow was slushy slow but super fun.
My buddy and I were up TC instead of Cardies. Such an epic day! Are you still in NZ? If so reach out and I'll take you for some Spring Slush laps at Mt Ruapehu.
will you be at home around christmas time? im going to whistler for a week and a half on the 27th and it would be super cool to see you on the mountain
What size board/foot/weight do you have? Capita website is somehow confusing, they recommend 3 sizes to me 😅 what would be for a 173cm tall 141lbs men's 7.5 us boots? I'm happy they made a narrow board tbh.
I have to ask again, pretty sure I did last time you were in Nz, but are you running promo for Cardrona or something? Theres so many more fields so close by that would be cool to showcase.
@@SnowboardProCamp Yo! Nice, Cardrona is definitely the best for terrain park riding. Treble Cone is my favourite though for pow and off piste riding + the view is amazing. Thanks
That snowboard was wicked stiff for me. I tried a demo on it, i have no idea how Longo boots off that thing. I experienced no pop. Maybe it was too big for me as im smaller
to anyone who has ever discredited Kevin’s snowboarding ability I really hope that you’ve taken the time to focus on his free riding, and if you are unable to understand how different of a skill level that is required to perform that well within conditions like this your arguments are automatically invalidated
Man conditions looking prime!!!!! Pumped to see you on the CLEW and hear your thoughts. I love mine, tan burton step ons for 2 years and switched to CLEW, now I can’t go back 😊
@@MysticOzzy lol this is what c RS cracks me up when people talk about the clew. You can remove them like regular bindings. You have the option of straps or the strap in system. Best of both worlds. They work great and ride great. No complaints

late season pow there is bringing hype for the season in the north. can't wait!
Let’s go!
so serene and beautiful Cardrona is on a pow day, nicely captured
The bowls at Treble Cone would have been epic.
Watching your videos and falling in love with snowboarding made me move to Wanaka! Great to see you got some great pow this trip 😀
Good vibes brother! So happy you got out there AND shared!! Grateful. Wish I was there 🤯
Thank you brother! Hope to see ya out next time!

Stoked for my upcoming season! This looks amazing!
Step in bindings and that clew high back on this video is always on the board. Cleaver 🤭🤭
Step-in mode for the chairlift. Traditional mode for the hikes.
These videos are getting me stoked for the coming snowboard season 😊
Let’s goooo!
willow is the best ungroomed lane with lift in cardrona, I was there but the snow wasn’t that good. A journey there in such fine day’s gonna be dope ❤
Amazing vibes Kev! 🤙

Yo, I’m back in Canada now. Made it to treble cone a few days later and had an epic time! Enjoy the rest of the season.

Yo great video man, I was just wondering what action camera do you use?
I’m using the GoPro 11
The aeromaut does it all!
Looks AWESOME!🔥
Gotta go to fergburger after the riding

Lucky buggers, south island just copping the snow. Mt Ruapehu just scraping by
I am so jealous! I wish I was in the mountains right now lol
hi kev how you like the new capita on a pow day ?!

What pole attachment did you use for your gopro?
Wow kevin… 😊
life would be different if I could snowboard right now
Called me spoilt, living in Japan now and I would call this early winter condition.
Hya, could you tell me what pants you had on please! Cheers
They are Volcom Longo Goretex pants. Link in the description
You should be at TC for power days!!!

me too!! wtf!! lol i was boarding on ice
Hard to time the weather
Do they have snow during the summer?
No, it's the end of winter/begin of spring there
this pow looks epic!
why don’t you use insta 360 camera instead?
It’s a bit more simple to edit the GoPro footage and better quality.

how are your bidings? i would like to buy them.
