This is reminding me of yesterday. I'm doing bus driver training in London and oh my the traffic is basically omsi traffic they have no brains. Love the videos keep it up
Thanks Goose! Oh you're quite lucky, I had to drive into work in the snow... my car is a rear wheel drive so was sliding about all over the place haha :D
Hey everyone, sorry but I have a question, my Omsi install doesn’t have the passenger voice talking to me when I am in game, anyone any ideas why maybe? Thanks
I struggle with OMSI. Whilst it WAS a great simulator, it's absurdly dated, watching this brings back both positive and negative memories - the excellent realistic physics which have never been matched, the excellent sounds and dynamics which make it feel like a real bus. All then constrained by the micro lag and stutters as well as the dated graphics and simple AI logic. I loved OMSI but I really wish there was a modern sequal, with good optimisation and modern graphics - with all the "bus simulators" on the market, it's very strange none managed to match (let alone surpass) OMSI 2. Ps. Agree on the liveries front - I recall when London buses were varied in liveries, it was a more interesting and buses had more 'character'.
How did you get the voices to reply back when you give them tickets? It never does it for me. Also, what’s the difference between easy ticket selling and the harder option?
Easy tickets comes up with the red text to tell you what ticket they'd like and how much it costs. 'Hard' doesn't provide the text, so you have to listen to what they're asking for and know how much it costs - like the real world. Whether the passengers respond depends on the voice pack that comes with the map.
Erm, I think we know that. It's in Nottinghamshire but it's included in a map called Lincolnshire, that mostly features Scunny, Gainsborough and Lincoln. Not that mind-boggling to grasp. In his first video that featured the Retford-Gainborough route, the title was "Heading into Nottinghamshire", so he's definitely aware.
Joe predicted the November snow across the UK lol
We've not seen a single flake of snow here in central Scotland
@@FPs_transport_vidsneither here in Essex
Derbyshire is a winter wonderland
Was at least supposed to be icy here, but nothing much. Mostly just a lot of cold wind and cold temperatures.
@@jasonday7378I live in Essex and it was snowing, just didn’t settle because of the rain before
Love the video Joe, you're hilarious! Just getting into OMSI and found your channel, keep up the great work.
Great video Joe, really enjoyed it, you're such a professional when it comes to busy driving! Love how real life this game is. Thanks for sharing 😊

Looks really good, I've seen that there's a 105 too I'm assuming that'll be out at some point!
Great video Joe and even omsi is better that here (we have no snow 😢)
Thanks Goose! Oh you're quite lucky, I had to drive into work in the snow... my car is a rear wheel drive so was sliding about all over the place haha :D
Love the video joe
Thanks so much Littlestation! :D
Normal cars can go over those road markings as they are not continuous white lines [at junctions] to overtake a bicycle etc. even to turn right.
You'd still look for cyclists though, as Joe suggested. Regardless of rights of way - assuming you'd rather not kill someone if possible.
What do you use for the keybinds?

how is your omsi so smooth 😭
Im on console but i want to play omsi 2 and the bus, but dont know what pc i should get does anybody have suggestions ?
For OMSI, a FAST CPU! OMSI does almost nothing with the GPU but is hugely dependent on CPU speed.
Yes
How do you enable the red text?
Turn on 'easy' ticket selling.
Is it on pc
Yep
Nooo not Stagecoach 😂😂😂
Are you not a fan RoadandRail? :(
@@JoeDobsongaming Not for what they keep doing to my local area.
Looks nothing like retford town centre.....Retford is not Lincolnshire 😂😂 it's Nottinghamshire
