Shadower and DB, the discussion for the 2 classes has never ending stop until now. I am a sea server Shadower, as when I started to play maple story before DB came out long time ago, shadower is my fav class. I love shadower first is because of the Savage Blow skill (I believe old mallets know what I mean for the iconic savage blow sound effect!). And now, maple story is no more the old “maple story”, the gaming experience is totally different compare to old time. But ya, after I play back few years ago, I choose and decide to main shadower, not because of weak bossing compare to one burst NL, the job bring me the fun of the class. DB was so fun in bossing, cool skills and burst for the class make it so popular. At the end of the day, it really depends on u (the player) to choose which style of playing and game experience. No judgment but yes, pick the class that bring lots of fun to u in maple story!
I am a Dual Blade main, I just tried shadower and tbh I LOVED the damage on him. BUT, its hard to do the mechanics when your ping is high based on your location, so its harder to cancel trickblade and move around. I ended up going back to my Dual Blades for the ease of survivability by sacrifising some damage.
If dualblade had purple ish skills i would have played it.. sadly my red green color blindness makes it impossible to do.. i wish they would make a colorblind option for this haha so we can change the colors of the skills, nightlord has it and i love it but dont like the playstyle of nightlord..
@@BautistaZep777 its not about transparancy even with transparancy it makes the visibility of what i use even worse to see + the fact you have other things blending in like in vhilla etc. For you it might be easy on the eye for me it is deff not.
I read somewhere that for sixth job, if you job change you'll lose all the progress on your hexa skills, so it sort of incentivizes you to stick to one class. Are you going to stick with DB? Or change back to shad?
I still feel Dual Blade is losing in terms of highest mobbing performance, bossing and the cost for CD hat and our Kataras. Also I wish Haunted Edge Blade had an auto/manual mode so you don't end up blasting it when there aren't enough targets. This is similar how Trinity Fusion is locked behind a behind a command. Draco Surge and True Wind Spirit automatically procc so RIP. If you can manual cast Haunted Edge, you wouldn't need to invest in Bloody Storm Nodes or need the hotkey for it.

You don’t just turn your skill transparency all the way down so you can see obstacles and attacks and stuff?

tldr: dual blade is better
More like tldr if u have hands shadowers, if you wanna plug and play db
@paultorch26 used to play shadower but switch to db instead cus it's very ping reliant. Just a few lag and it make your bossing totally unplayable
