Hey man. Just subscribed. Great job at explaining. I was watching people do the weaving and after trying it myself, I realized it’s not that easy. Someone mentioned you want to tap ME just after your character starts to come down from the A2 animation. I definitely want to see how you burst as a shadower and what order to use skills upon binding a boss. Please also include optimal set ups, like hyper skills, node trios, and priority node leveling.
What you have requested are actually the two ideas for videos that I am working on next! Expect to see a video on optimal set ups first, followed afterwards by another video on detailed skill explanations, where burst rotation will be discussed.

would you recommend making a macro of assassinate -> meso explosion -> assassinate for the blood money bonus on the A2?
I would not, as the use of macros is a potentially banable offense. The skills cannot be macro'd inside the game either.
I would love to test if I am weaving correctly pre-200 but I cant confirm because i dont have DSI so i dont have max attack speed when BA benchmarking.
Do you or anyone else know the BA benchmark for successfully weaving if you do not use DSI or Green Monster Park Potion?

great guide! quick question: how can i tell if im properly animation cancelling? is it when you can see the purple animation of A1 early-mid meso explosion animation? edit: i would check if i could do 70+ but i cant exactly do it consistently and i dont wanna commit it to muscle memory if im doing it incorrectly. thanks!
The best way to tell is of course doing a 30s BA at the end of the day, animation cancelling is best done by feel so it's tough to say exactly what to look for. Like I said in the guide, many people have different cues that they look for. It's all about getting that 70+ hits then discovering what works best for you to maintain it!

hi i followed ur configurations for the sticky keys but cant seem to get it to work. am i missing out any steps? and is it possible to do this with cruel stab for mobbing?
I think it’s always good to use sticky key, bc ppl would mess up and result in less final damage buffs on assassinate.
For beginners I agree. But like discussed in the video, you can't animation cancel with sticky keys to unlock your full potential.
@@chiselergms I guess my point is 70 boosted assassinate > 80 with occasional 4-5 not boosted ones per 30 seconds. Plus it's really hard to hit 80 nate per 30 seconds even for experienced players
@@hanlinzhu7883 your assassinates going for 80 assassinates in 30 seconds should all be boosted. If not, there is another issue on your end that you may be encountering, potentially a ping issue. Animation cancelling does not result in un-boosted assassinates.

Would a macro work instead of manually hitting these skills? for example, one key press of CTRL would do A-A-M. so then all you'd have to do is hit CTRL repeatedly. Sorry, im new to MS
I would recommend against it as external macros are a banable offense.
I love that I'm finally seeing a video talking about the ACing of Meso Weaving. Every other guide I see only talks about linking them together. Plus, I discovered ACing before normal Meso Weaving, so I always wondered why it looked so slow for everyone else. 10/10 guide.

Yes, sticky keys cannot be used to animation cancel. They can be on while you do it but it won't do anything.

Playing NA Reboot from SEA with around 180~ ping, is playing shadower viable? Much thanks for the great video
You may have issues with your assassinates not all having the red murderous intent buff with every hit, that starts happening around 160-200 ping. Might result in a slight damage loss for you.

Hi. Is spamming A1 - ME - A2 - ME - A1 - Me and so on, not a good way to weave?
Do a 30s analysis and see how many assassinates you're getting off. If you're not getting as many as described in the video, it is inefficient.
is green pot required to hit 70 hits/30sec?
Yes, green pot and decent speed infusion are required to reach the attack speed cap for shadowers.

Thinking of switching my NL to DB,
For the meso weaving/ACing, would it be ping reliant?
I have to use a VPN to play maple, no noticeable delay or lag, but I'm concerned that it might affect my shadower's performance.
The speed of weaving itself would not be affected by ping. The only factor affected by ping would be if the murderous intent buff is consistently applied while weaving or not. Apparently this starts to happen at about 200 ping.
@@chiselergms Yeah turns out I have 250+ ping, I switched to Shad and tried it out, did the sticky key method, and was only get red nates every other assassinate, so purple > red > purple > red.
Really bummed out, wanted to boss with the Shad :(

Unfortunately it is, yes.
I have 230ms ping and can't get more than 76 times so I think is it for high ping ?
Ping does not affect weaving speed, only if Murderous Intent from Meso Explosion is applied. Keep practicing!

Ping should not affect the weave speed, however at 200+ ping it may affect if the 'murderous intent' buff is applied to every Assassinate.

No, because ME is need to animation cancel the A2 animation. ME should always come after A2.
is the sticky keys weaving patched? not working for me and im trying it on every key (Ctrl, Shift, Alt)
Edit: Found a fix. If anyone else is having this problem, take your assassinate off of the ingame macro and just have it by itself

for any1 with high ping, dont play this class lol
Ping issues become a factor at about the 160-200ms range. Even then, there are other ways to weave not covered in this video that still allow high ping players to take full advantage of the class.
