Redmi note 10 pro was ahead of its time and still packs a punch in 2024
My Redmi Note 10 Pro is now almost back to normal after cpu reballs. It now has now a front and back camera. Audio is also back and can play all videos. It's a great phone with some hardware issue that needs repair to make it work again.
I just bought it last week. Still a great phone with flagship and premium looking!
hey, i got some issue with my phone, especially on games roblox, it crashes almost everytime and sometime i have to restart the whole phone, how can i fix this if its even possible ?

As an owner of this phone (same colour too)
I can say there are some interesting qualities to the camera such as the narrow window between foreground and background which looks really good on close up images but terrible on medium range ones
on top of that i found that low light is very poor and as someone who lives in the uk i notice this a lot as really this phone requires a bright day to function but when i get the perfect shot it is so rewarding.
However I'm planning on upgrading to an s21 ultra because of these drawbacks
TlDR: was a good perchance but doesn't perform well enough in low light so I'm upgrading

I juts got it. I looked for a phone in this price range and everything is shit nowadays, worse screens, cameras, speakers, no dedicated card slot, no jack. How can I avoid the front camera failure and other issues if I want to upgrade it to Miui 14? Will a hard reset from recovery mode after performing the update make a difference? Or is there a stable Android 13/MIUI update?
Good choice! Mine is so good so far! Just get the official updates from MIUI because those are the stable ones.
I got mine a few days ago for 200Euros, currently the best phone in the market for these money. Excellent camera performance, matches more expensive phones easily.
I brought the 6g ram and 128gb last year because I couldn't find the 8g ram anywhere even on Amazon.

I'm still using this phone right now and I can tell that it's still relevant today. The only thing I don't like about the phone is its MIUI updates. Why? Because even though you updated your apps every now and then there are features that are missing and there are things that need to improve.

thanks for the video, may i ask if the 50mp camera on the redmi note 12 4g would be on par with this older model which is 108mp? or the 108mp still capture more details than the latest 50mp camera of note 12? thanks!
The camera on note 10 pro is set to about 50mp by default, so the images you capture on note 10 pro would be pretty much the same on note 12. However, the images you shoot with note 10 pro's 108MP mode will be much detailed, but in reality we don't really usually use the 108MP that much 😅

@@hillsongbest3818 note 10 pro is significantly cheaper than the 11 pro, but the note 11 pro slighly better than the note 10 pro. They actually have almost the same performance if you're just into casual use. For gaming, note 11 pro is slightly better.

I think u should go for the realme 10 Pro + since it is newer than the note 10 pro, it also has higher specs. The redmi note 12 non-pro has lower specs than the note 10 pro but keep in mind that the realme 10 pro + is priced much higher than your other choices.

@@charylejenica16 realme 10 pro is 5G ready since it has slightly better processor than the latter two. However, realme 10 pro has only IPS LCd display, if it doesn't concern u, then realme is the best one ☺️ it still depends on what u do.

What about it's Android and MIUI version? Does it have any software related issues? Can you say the camera performance between it and redmi note 12 4g?
The cameras on both devices have the same quality, but the note 10 pro has 108mp mode and it can take more detailed shots. I have the latest android and miui update on this and there are no problems so far.

I bought this phone about 40 days ago.I was searching last year for something good and not to spend more than 250 euros.I had redmi 5 plus and I wanted to have again Xiaomi phone.Poco X5 didn't amaze me,the same with redmi note 11 S.
I decided to buy older phone, sacrificing some updates,but experiencing a bit of upper category.
I didn't regret it,if you can find this phone,buy it.Companies did kind of downgrade to quality and increased the prices,so redmi note 10 pro is one way.

IMO, note 10 pro is better. Note 12 is definitely more stylish but performance wise, note 10 pro is better.

@@johnpatricke.oliveros1897 it's almost the same, the default setting for note 10 pro's camera is only about 50mp so in real time performance, they have the same quality. Though Note 10 pro excels when you set your camera to 108MP mode, but really you won't use it that much.
if you want to buy the 12 series go for the 12 pro or 12 pro +

Yes, I have the Xiaomi 11T and it's almost on par with the Note 10 Pro! ☺️ On performance, the 11T is better and the cameras are really the same. But for everyday use like casual social media browsing or watching videos, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is still a solid choice for 2023.

@@thelastuchiha1928 well for my usage, it doesn't really affect me at all. I use my Xiaomi 11T for filming my TH-cam videos and i haven't encountered any problems besides getting very warm (processor is Dimensity 1200 Ultra and I shoot mainly 1080p60)
Got this phone almost 2 years ago, and all i can say is it was the best and the worst thing that happened to me. It got all the specs i wanted. It was my phone for everything calls, emails, pictures, videos, social media, you name it i did it on the phone. Now the worst part is the fault in their motherboards. I got dead motherboard a month ago. It cant be replaced it cant be fixed. I am left with dead phone, data that is stuck on the phone and in the search for a new one.
That's the reson why I haven't updated the phone 2.5 years already passed and it's still smooth and camera quality is still competes with a 2024 under 15/17 thousand rupees phone

Unfortunatelly, this phone does not support yet adaptive refresh rate dan charging time still approach 2 hours (1 hour 40 minutes), slower than Poco M4 Pro and Redmi Note 12 which are support fast charging 33 watt.
Mine takes only one hour and 20 mins to fully charge from 3-100%
Unti now i used my Redmi Note 10 Pro

Yes, it's still a capable phone for at least my use! I game casually and edit some photos on a regular basis and it still never fails me. It still all depends on your usage.

I used my Redmi Note 10 Pro for 2 years at hanggang ngayon okay na okay parin, wala parin ako na experience na any issues whatsoever. The best midrange phone of 2021!

Unfortunately the thermal control in the Redmi Note 10 Pro isn't very good, at least after some of the updates. My front camera stopped working, probably due to a common problem of the soldering for the connection to the front camera melting. Luckily this happened shortly before the end of the two year warranty in the EU. I am typing this from a Redmi Note 10 pro that I will be replacing with a Samsung Galaxy A34 in a couple days. I was a huge fan of the phone, but the sudden failure of the front camera due to quality issues really soured that.

@@BerryVeee so far wala naman po issues sa miui 14 on this phone! Sa MOA ko binili itong note 10 pro, and yes medyo limited na ang stocks. Pero i think babalik din sa stocks to kc nagpoproduce pa sila ng 2022 versions neto which i got.

@@kylatalamor2336 aah bale ang nakuha mo pong variant is 6/128GB. Ang mga phones po natin may memory extension na, like sayo, kumuha po siya ng 2GB sa storage mo so total of 8GB na ang RAM mo. ☺️

So far, minor con lang naman po like when I'm playing ML, it only plays on high frame rates which is 60fps lang.

Please avoid it redmi and poco lot of problems with updates please avoid it chosen to be realme or Samsung's for long term usage
I have used realme phones and they dont promise security updates. Samsung phones are super overpriced.
I have now a traumatic experience about this phone. I think its more like a "System Failure" I don't think that's the right term but most of my application stop working. First is the front camera and then the Audio and so on until most of the app stop working. I still have this phone with me but I don't use it anymore like why do I have to use it when all of the apps are shutting down. I am not discouraging anyone but to be honest" I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PHONE"

Guys, this phones camera sucks!!! I bought this phone to replace my old Xiaomi Redmi 7A. Xiaomi Redmi 7A was the cheapest Xiaomi I could find in 2019 - it has a tiny 12MP main camera and a tiny 5MP selfie cam and after installing gcam with the proper setup it started taking awesome photos and I wouldn't replace it if it wasn't the small storage - it comes with 16GB only and most of the space is used by system files. Well, two weeks ago due to many many videos that I'd watched about how awesome Redmi Note 10 Pro camera is I decided to buy it and this super-duper 108MP camera's photos has much less detail than photos taken with Redmi 7A's cam. I even installed the best gcam with the proper settings for Note 10 pro - photos got much better than the ones taken with the stock app but still can't reach the quality of the cheapest Xiaomi phone from 2019!!! Redmi Note 10 Pro has great speed when working with apps, looks good, battery is great but I bought it for the camera and I'm quite disappointed. So I wanna know how you take the pictures - do you use the stock camera app or gcam or something else? Do you use the pro mode of the camera with custom setup? Is your phone the global version or you use some Chinese version?
I only use stock camera app and it isn't not that bad for my use ☺️ video is not that great compared to xiaomi 11T but photos-wise it's great so far.
