My dude!! Hope to see you at the gundies! You motivated me to do videos this year after my dad passed and I got nominated too man it’s been paying off 🥺🙏🏽
Several years ago, Larry Vickers interviewed BCM CEO, Paul Buffoni, and at that time BCM was largely just a retailer. The company employed engineers to design many of their products, but farmed out most of the manufacturing to sub-vendors. BCM did do final assembly on their firearms, though, and they have always been on top of their QC, (Buffoni wants BCM and his Gunfighter brand to be associated with quality). But, yeah. There's a 90% chance that any BCM product you buy was actually manufactured by another company.
The primary issue with both rifles is camouflage. It blew my mind we didn't camouflage our rifles in the regular Army, snipers excluded, the brass would go through uniform changes frequently for the best blend-factor but continue with single color sticks of metal and plastic.
Huge fan of people putting the holosun 510c on high end builds, the optic just rocks. Plus some bear creek love. Nice vid man keep it up. Slap a diefreeco kung fu grip with a plug on that and it would be *chef's kiss*.
Where are the Radian haters? Oh, I guess they haven’t left the Reddit forums in time….honestly, the only thing that people hate on with Radian is the price. No one ever complains about actual issues/accidents or any of that. Radian manufactures their own products and their only issue is price. That’s ALL.
I hear that they are sometimes overgassed which depending on what you want to do can be a pain. I know adjustable gas blocks and all that stuff is a way to get around that but why put another part that could screw up when you could just get a good barrel have it measured to see if it is in spec. Also depends on how many rounds you go though, being honest with how many rounds you burn though helps make a choice. Cause most of us wont burn out even a phosphate POS barrel. Also get a good BCG cause I got a crap one from bear creek where the gas key was not staked correctly and after 300 rounds the gas key shattered into tiny shards.
@@m4e1supremacy😂 why would you say that specifically? I already ordered one but am wondering what I am looking for in terms of defects. Lower parts tolerances? May seating issues? I have others that have been great, but now I’m hesitant.
@@dauntusgaming I mean if it's in spec it's in spec, right? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's all you really need from a lower. I say give it shot since you've already ordered it anyway. For what it's worth my main beater build is an Aero and I've never had any issues with it, though mine's the heritage tac-m4 with the old roll marks, not an m4e1. So it would predate any more recent QC issues they may be going through now
they get BA barrels, I'm* not aware of anything else from aero/ba they use. They aren't using their receivers though which is usually what aero is popular for. IIRC they are using zev for receivers.
I like a lot of what geissele makes. I didn’t talk about a lot of the other manufacturers I like just some of the main ones I build with. I really only use geissele buffer assemblies, and their triggers but I’ve heard good things about their other stuff
@@GUNMENusa Thanks for the reply. I was looking to build a AR from scratch. the radian lower but possibly Geissele upper components, but your video made me consider a different direction
Nice build sir, you got me thinking about your holosun 510c. Can you tell me does that optic come in fde & black? A two tone correct? Where can I get one?
That depends on what I’m using it for! Usually if it’s 556 it’s a general purpose build but something like a 300 blackout would have more of a direct purpose in mind. Like a close quarters or truck gun.
B5 fin grip and a stock lok and then build to your hearts content, if they have weak arms and desire a regular grip, then I suggest the kingpin and maglock. Finally if they want something to look legal while traveling to the range then comp mag, and when they’re shooting just take it out and use regular mags. Just because we’re restricted doesn’t mean we’re prohibited 🔥 just be smart
Haha man I wish I could help but i genuinely have no idea when it comes to state compliant options 😂 I actually do think radian makes a full compliant rifle option?
Maaaaan. Cantilevered TLR1HL on a magpul Carbine handguard, magpul RSL, Sig Tango4 1-4 in an ATN Thermal mount (backwards lmao), Hera arms vert grip on a pic mount rather than just buying an MLOK magpul grip Only good thing is all this junk was put onto a Colt 6920 so atleast the heart of the gun was decent lol
Hey man! I love your videos- exactly what the TH-cam gun community was missing. I’m curious your thoughts about the blackout defense quantum DTL Platform!
Daniel has a reputation of making strong, accurate, and reliable barrels. Nothing particularly wrong with bear creeks but I’m sure it wouldn’t outlast a DD
I’d actually recommend NOT building a rifle UNLESS you are willing to put the research in to understand how to do it correctly (torque specs, proper lubricants and greases, etc. You also need the proper tools which is another expense. I love to tinker, am somewhat mechanically inclined, and was willing to watch hours and hours of videos from channels like SOTAR and read forums like m4carbine. I also was willing to spend several hundred dollars on the proper tools. If that isn’t you just buy a good rifle like BCM, SOLGW, etc
I can’t take this dude seriously. It’s like he’s pretending to be humble. His “first builds” look like the culmination of years of knowledge for most people. It also sounds like he’s intentionally trying to make his voice deeper to sound more masculine or something. It’s weird. Just be yourself dude. Stop trying to be someone you’re not.

Where can I find that hand stop on the brown Ar pistol??
Geissele machines everything too
what's the weapon light on the second build?
Who is using bear creek arsenal or psa as an oem for their parts and charging more for it?
What do you think about Aero M4E1 stripped lowers for a premium build on say an Sig Spear LT?
I would lean in a different direction for a while. I’ve heard aero isn’t in a good spot right now and their quality is decreasing
This is good advice. Thank you!
I would recommend psa or anderson over aero as of late for stripped lowers, despite my username.
