If anyones wondering why his name was changed originally, it was because his name was very similar to an MMA fighter, I think the name was Rico Rodrigues which doesn't sound too similar but it apparently got them in a bit of hot water
It's nice that they recognize Marco'a Brazilian heritage by giving him a pseudo double jump. Or in Marco's case, making him do mid air shoryukens. All Brazillians have a double jump. Or at least a way to control themselves in the air. Like Blanka. Or Jetstream Sam.
Looks like Marco at the end of his Gear 3 (apparently in this game the supers are called "Gear" now according to the official site) hits them with that KOF 13 Takuma uppercut to the sky offscreen into chopping them to the ground....I guess cause out of the current users of Kyokugen aside from Takuma he's the only one beefy enough to pull it off...cool as all hell though, can't wait to see who else they reveal.
