Actually any decent pianist (like 6th year) can read okay the notes with casual speed. But the talent comes from the perfection of this piece, it's so difficult in a way that actually no one can master it in less than half a year. It's a true masterpiece, and this young pianist is gifted
It depends on the experience of the pianist. It's taking me a long time as self taught pianist. But someone who played piano for years can do this piece much faster. Most of those sequence of chords are done as daily exercises.
The sheer concentration of this man is astounding.... it's as if he is physically playing but spiritually up with God... the power of music really is something!
I had the opportunity of playing with an orchestra once and the feeling is amazing. Though it wasn't nearly as difficult a piece... From one pianist to another, very excellent performance. I can tell that this piece moves you as much as it moves me.

@@GeorgiiCherkinparabéns, uma das melhores performance que já ouvir.
@@GeorgiiCherkin Congratulations! It was a really great performance! 👏
I didn’t realise this piece could get any better, until I heard how wonderfully the strings can enhance the articulation of the harmony.
Bravo
So beautiful ! You’re really a genius and the best pianist ever !!!! Speechless before your talent !!! Wish you all the best !!!!
Thank you so much!
I like nice poeple : -3
Best version on youtube? He played every note crystal clearly
Surely the Best!!!🌟
@@taniapetrova9977 That was a compliment. And it was indeed a question. Is there an equally good version?
@@nelsonlee3376 This is the only version with orchestra! Georgii CHERKIN has made the simphonization. There are quite a lot of pianists who play the Moonlight sonata but thousands of people prefer Mr.Cherkin because of his elegance and playing with huge passion! I recommend You to listen to other wonderful performances in this channel!🥰🎶

Thank you so much!
@@GeorgiiCherkin Hi Georgii. Do you have a CD rather than a live version?
This man is a true maestro of the keys.
This is one of the best 3rd movement I’ve ever heard. Well done, sir!
Thank you so much!
Could feel the passion of Beethoven live ! What a performance ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
my room is as big as that piano
You must be grateful to live in a piano...
So how big is your bed?
One of Tom and Jerry’s episode indicates that😂😂
You must’ve have a big room ;)
Holy shit. A Steinway that's for concerts is 12 feet. Literally my bedroom length too.
Incroyable ! Le Presto agitato de Beethoven💎sublimé par le talent et la beauté de ce pianiste💖Bravo et merci Georgii Cherkin
I love when the pianist slows down the tempo to let the orchestra helping him to bring the emotional to us. Some parts are usually played as quick as possible to be spectacular but this interpretation shows the perfect mix between emotions and technical demonstration
Such romantic hands !!
Thats why they are moving so fast ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Wow! Truly the very best of 3rd on YT ever !
Maestro virtuoso at play and immortal one of the kind Beethoven 3rd....
Keep coming to it endlessly...whole vid got quality and power of hypnotic addiction ....
Out of this world sensation with very fine Orchestra greatly enhancing sonic and visual perception of everything at once.
Love every note ....Bravo !!!
Passion reflects from the pianist's expressive eyes
The most beautiful version I have ever heard. It is not just virtuosity, you get feeling.
My most favorite interpretation of this movement so far!!! The first time I ever finished listening till the end! And I think the orchestra have done a fantastic job in accompany the pianist as well! Good job!! ❤❤❤
Wow, thank you!
Same!!!
Man, hearing this orchestra changed my scenery of Beethoven. It went from good to best
Meraviglioso, grande interpretazione, tanto studio e sensibilità di un grande musicista.
Emozione stupenda, grazie, per questo momento.
A most exceptional style of performance done by the pianist.
Surprised the piano didn't catch on fire, amazing performance!
I love the fact that he's just playing the song from his heart, not sheet music
Wunderschön und zauberhaft! herzlichsten Dank Herr Cherkin.
After hundreds of years it is still very popular. Amazing. And thats the beauty of it
His wonderful and surprise performance with exquisite skill is off the charts
WHAT THE HECK THAT WAS BREATHTAKING!!!! O HAD MY EYES CLOSED AS I FELT LIKE I WAS IN HEAVEN WATCHING THE LORDS ORCHESTRA GLORIFYING HIM. 😊
Thank you so much! 🙏
@@GeorgiiCherkin You deserve the respect your an exceptional pianist. BRAVO!!!! 😍
This is the best Moonlight Sonata i have ever heard. So epic! Thank you for sharing.
This is honestly the best playing I have ever heard of this song! I love how you can hear rhythm in it.
Thank you, Armadillo!
The third movement is really spectacular.
I've seen this video like a thousand times, I just can't stop, amazing
Actually any decent pianist (like 6th year) can read okay the notes with casual speed. But the talent comes from the perfection of this piece, it's so difficult in a way that actually no one can master it in less than half a year. It's a true masterpiece, and this young pianist is gifted
It depends on the experience of the pianist. It's taking me a long time as self taught pianist. But someone who played piano for years can do this piece much faster. Most of those sequence of chords are done as daily exercises.
his expression when the piece ended >>>>>>>>all
This has really..
CHANGED THE SCENE
The sheer concentration of this man is astounding.... it's as if he is physically playing but spiritually up with God... the power of music really is something!
2:29 is where change of scene starts
Finally a gd player comment🦈🫂
I'm amazed every time i come back to listen to this!
Beethoven would be so proud!
THIS PEACE OF MUSIC AND COMPOSER ARE ETERNITY. ..
Still watching im absolute awe. Think i have watched this no less than 1000 times. Its my daily song ❤️
I am really happy about this!
This is the tempo I like. Not too fast, not too slow
I had the opportunity of playing with an orchestra once and the feeling is amazing. Though it wasn't nearly as difficult a piece... From one pianist to another, very excellent performance. I can tell that this piece moves you as much as it moves me.
Everyone saying " he's nervous and there were some faults " He's incredible and do you know how freaking difficult this piece is?? Have you guys played it because i have so stop criticizing him and just enjoy his talent
Actually it was really a big emotion for me, because I was presenting for the first time my arrangement for piano and orchestra of the piece, never heard before. Thank you for listening!
@@GeorgiiCherkinI can't find any negative comments?
For me this is the best version.
The pressure in your face only makes it better. What a show, great recording.
You have my eternal respect.
absolutely gorgeous!! A lot of pianists try to bring this try to bring this at the fastest possible speed. This is played at a metronome tempo of 155. For me, this speed is the most enjoyable to listen to.
The reason they do that is because they play double time. The metronome for that is 310
This is my favorite piano performance of this. The orchestra really adds a unique touch too. What a wild piece of music.
Thank you so much!
Your expression at 7:09 is everything! I mean, it clearly summarised how the composition is hard and complex, but all the pain was absolutely worth it.
Fabulous job, I have visited your channel every day ever since I discovered it (so thankful that I did!) and am amazed by your skills and the beauty that the orchestra adds to it.
Каждый музыкант пропуская через себя музыку, выдаёт свою уникальную интерпретацию того или иного произведения. Мне нравится эта версия. Очень красивое исполнение: энергично, волнующе и захватывающе. Спасибо большое!
It's a perfect rendition. I can't stop listening to this. Thanks again.
I was looking for a pianist who performs this piece and then I found this. The first i hear the music,it's exactly what im looking for how it should be played to satisfy my ears.I love how you played it,and it inspires me to play and practice piano even more as I see you play the piece.Thank you for this really great performance!
Thank you very much!
