I've seen a lot people with the cool visuals above the piano... is that like an app on the PC? or does some just make it in adobe?

I was expecting level 6: Mainac)
So lit
Beethoven: *writes 2nd movement of Moonlight Sonata*
Every pianist ever: "I'm gonna pretend like I didn't see that."
True
It’s really unfortunate because it’s a very pretty movement
LOL BUT 2ND MOVEMENT IS GOOD
2nd movement : Why do they hate me ?
I’m not a pianist, just saying..
BUT there’s a second movement why didn’t anyone tell me this before!
Replace “level” with “day” and you got yourself a simply piano ad
Damn that’s deep
In just 5 days, you too can play just like Beethoven did years ago!
LMAO
Ooh... burn!!
And True!!
That is so true

True
@@thagomizer8485 Yes the original version was composed by Beethoven but I meant the harder versions 😁
@@sss-we8ij beethoven said he hates you.
@@marvinzimmerman1878 Haha 😁 sry Beethoven I didn’t mean to offend you 😮
Are you blink?
You forgot level 6: Knows how to play the 2nd movement
You meant : "Knows how the 2nd movement actually sounds :"
Man it's not hard to play
The hard part is to find someone who actually wrote the sheet :)
Lvl 6. Doesn't ruin good classical music by not knowing how it actually sounds and adding bs so called epic moves to make it more epic and calling it epic.
Istg the 2nd movement is the easiest
@@exol.multistan8637 no the first is, second is second hardest and third is hardest

If that's mediocre, my skill level is equal to donkey stool.
Nina Vann its all relative, cause for elitistic pricks anything below their “master” level is mediocre.

I honestly i was out here making progress bc I could do arpeggios and now I feel attacked
Nina Vann Imagine what it’s like to be below a beginner (...like me)😂

It's purpose is to create a bridge for the 1st and 3rd. It's stated in the original piece.

Lmfao right now lol
I love about 95% of the stuff you do, but I had a hard time with this one. Moonlight is one of only a few songs that carries with it so much gravitas that remixing or rearranging it takes away rather than adds to how epic the song is. I realize that this is a highly personal take.
Also, keep doing what you're doing, my dude. Love your work.

Perfection also a beautiful pianist once said this " If you buy a piano, you use the WHOLE piano
Level 6: Suddenly transitioning into Still D.R.E.
lmao XD
Seth Everman style :D
Imagine there was a level six and it just said Asian
Level 5 is just... wrong. 2nd movement reduced too a three second bridge. And throwing notes in there LvB didn't write, it's a pastiche. Not Epic.
As a mathematician i can say it's the far side of the parabola and your "level six" is further away from the heavens and closer still to the mud
Grows extra limbs
I think that no matter how "noob" you are, what matters is how much sentiment and emotion you play with. it can turn any piece, even the simplest, into the most beautiful
Agree - this video was cringe and self-praising whilst also putting others down - “I’m amazing according to myself..., if you play like this then you’re a no0b”
agree because it makes me feel so low being an amateur. It takes a lot though to learn a piece it isnt that easy, you just need to give it your all
I play the piano, although my piano is only 66 keys, i can play moonlight sonata 1st mov but with only one note on the left hand but I can play moonlight sonata 1st mov 2 notes in the left hand if i only have a bigger piano. I’m already practicing Fantasie Impromptu, still cant do 2 notes in the left hand in Moonlight sonata 1st mov. And yes, the person above me is right, it aint that easy, although its kinda true that its not that hard, it was still hard memorizing the notes you remember in MS mv 1, it aint easy, its also 6min, i cant blame you.
To pretty much all of these replies, the video comment says it’s just for fun, calm down
yes
I wouldn’t necessarily say that the added modifications is necessary because it kind of ruins the whole vibe of the song
Yeah, complexity=/ good when it comes to music
yessir
The first movement played right has this haunting waltz-like melody to it that you can sway to. I personally prefer the first movement played a touch slower than people tend to play -- it gives it that gentle, flowing feeling to the piece. The modifications sounded harsh and disjointed -- they didn't flow like the original score.
The third movement is supposed to be this frenetic storm (hence the title "The Tempest"). The speed and energy was there, but the modifications made it feel disconnected and dissonant in places. While it should sound like a whirling, chaotic storm, it should also sound as if the storm has a natural continuous motion instead of abrupt changes midway through one of the surges.
That’s the point
That’s the point. He’s making satire content towards people who don’t know anything about music and actually think faster and more notes = better.

I just recognized that in every video with "levels" at the highest one he is basically just flexing

I mean to be fair I think almost anybody would describe that as expert level. Also he has dedicated his life to piano I’m pretty sure he would know how to play it extremely well.

The modified movement sounds really nice, but the actual one sounds so much more sombre as a result of its destitute, isolated feeling encapsulated by playing barely any notes.
Really good video, keep it up!
It's like Stuart getting up at a funeral and saying "Look what I can do!"
Dennis Tsishkevich I feel like the modified one is definitely harder and showcases the pianist’s skill better, but it loses some of the emotion communicated in the original

When I heard about this song, its name and its beginning for the first time, I thought it was a calm, relaxing piece. Boy was I wrong...
I think, Beethoven thought the same "Can't sleep, I write something chilling and... LET'S WAKE EVERYBODY!"
If you listen carefully you can hear Beethoven turning in his grave.
Nah. This is for learning.
why would he, this is just him playing it

MusicalBasics: Small amounts of rubato to add to the feeling of somberness.
Me: Ah. Yes. Of course. Rubenmato. The subtle art of Rubenmatoing your piece for maximum rubenmatonessessess.
MusicalBasics: Setup for transition to third movement.
Me: Ah. How could I have forgotten? You must move in the third dimension whilst skipping the second in order to maximize your transitionified transition while balancing the rubenmattenmonessnessnessnessnessing from before.
MusicalBasics: Release of pedal abruptly shifts the atmosphere
Me: Ah. Yes. Just like the bicycle. When your release the pedal the atomenespherium shifts from an atenespherium with a pedal to an atmospherium without it. And now since we are in the third dimension, the pedal has extra effect. You see MusicalBacics, you yet again forgot to add the rubenmatteonessness to your already rubenmattedified rubenmato machine. This, in turn, maximizes your rubenmattenonessoringnessnessnessnessing.

Moonlight sonata is a true masterpiece, so well-written that even the lowest level of skill can make it sound good.
While I would like to agree with you, I can't really because when I try to play the 3rd movement at low tempo it sounds like complete trash.

@@souhridyobose4362 Yeah, I felt triggered when he changed it. But then I apreciated it like it was. A modified version of it. There are plenty who can play it correctly, after moving my ego aside. I actually liked to hear a modified piece.
Anyway, I asume if he can play it like this, for sure can play it properly.
Cheers
it's at level 9 and 3/4.
Yeah, adding all those extra notes in there changed the piece, especially the 3rd movement. There are just some pieces of music you don't fuck with and the 3rd movement of Moonlight Sonata is one of them. It's already perfect and a masterpiece on it's own.

Love this piece.
This is easily my favorite TH-cam channel
I think that nobody can imagine how hard is to play this song, just if you're a pianist you will understand how hard is to play this song..you need weeks and hours per day to achieve that experience.
Gamerul HD there are lyrics?
@@emmajohnson7105 nope
This isn't a song, this is music, and that's true that Sonata op 27 n. 2, or just n 14 is a hard piece. I played the first movement when I was 11, and I understood the whole music, even l was just a child. The first movement must be played in Adagio sostenuto, not in Prestissimo, but 3 movement must be played faster.
emma johnson No, there's no lyrics. That's what makes it so difficult to sing.
I remember learning the 1st movement at a younger age, and I'm trying to learn the 3rd movement right now. It's brual and TONS of effort, but worth all the time put into it.

This just makes me question even more how a deaf guy could write this
Well at this point in Beethoven’s career, he was losing his hearing, which meant he could hear, but it was hard to do so. This explains the loud, powering and intense characteristic of this piece.
auditory memory
Friedchickenboi9 naw bro he was deaf deaf when writing this he just memorized the notes and keys
@@nicolasa4life maybe
Quote: "It's all about the math." I am not a musician, I can only try to appreciate music that touches me. I either feel something when I hear music, or I don't. Beethoven has always made me feel something, often deeply, emotionally. Math, more intellectually gifted voices than mine see the math in music. I see, and more importantly to me, feel the passion. Beethoven, to me, composed with passion throughout his career. More so after losing his hearing. Imagine losing one of the senses. That would make me express that gift with richer passion.
