    I just received this machine today. I had to order it after watching all the great tutorials by Vanessa. I'm looking forward to making many projects on this machine. Vanessa you are such a great teacher, thank you for all the free tutorials for a senior citizen like myself.

    I just love this tutorial about my lovely Juki! My husband bought me one almost three years ago! I sew through the Pandemic almost everyday! Thanks, I discovered things I didn’t know! You are a great teacher!

    Oh my goodness I got my machine Monday and just got to open it last night I bought it for my daughter that sews and also makes things for the market. We have several machines Janome Singer but this is our first Juki She loves it I am so glad. It has everything she needs and is ls light enough for her to move from one table to another. Thank you Vanessa and thank you B for the super quick shipping!!!!!!!!

    I have one just like this one . Bought it in March . And I have to saw I'm in love with it . Just what I wanted in a machine. I was looking for the up an down needle I never had on my other machine . Always wanted a Juki heard alot of great comments on them . Couldn't believe it was so light weight . And very reasonable price . Unbelieveable the price is so low . This is a excellent machine an so easy to use . Wish I would have had this tutorial when I bought mind . But I did get a DVD with it on directions . But Thank You so much I certainly enjoyed your tutorial . Very precise . 💞🌼💞🙂

      Idk if you’ll see this but if you do can you please give an update on how the machine is holding up? I’m so indecisive as I’ve seen some reviews mentioning the backstitching has issues on this machine and I haven’t seen any video on it addressing the backstitching..

    I don't have a Juki, but I do have that same type of bobbin. I got my Brother Machine last March and I just learned from watching your video that I don't have to pull the bobbin thread up like the way I did back in the 70's!!!! Thank you for this video or I would of never learn this!!!!

    This was a great review. I'm in the market for a replacement to my 15+ yr old basic machine. I fell in love with the DX5, after watching your review of that one, but it's out of my price range. This machine seems to have a some of the most useful features, at an easy price. Also, since I don't have a dedicated work space, this looks easy to transport. This looks like a contender. Thank you.

    I love the way the machine sounded, & it sewed beautiful stitches across all your sample fabrics. I have a very expensive Bernina machine, & it drives me crazy! I curse the day I bought it!! One thing that you did not mention, can you drop the feed dogs to do some free motion quilting? Thank You for another great video, Vanessa!!

    I have beautiful Babylock Altaire sewing/embroidery machine, but wanted a small lightweight travel machine for primarily straight stitching. I remembered that you like Juki's so found this video one your website. The machines are out of stock but thinking of adding my name to the email notification and buying this little guy for travel/quick sewing projects. I am used to the automatic threading/cutting features tho LOL.

    That sewing machine is looking nice, but out of my price range since I am an beginner and purchased a Singer brand which came with 16 types of stitches on it and it is a manual type and that suits me just fine. I worked for the prison system here in Arkansas before retiring and worked in the laundry where there was an older model Singer and a newer model Juki and they both did the same thing and we used them to repair linen and inmate clothing with and we had certain inmates assigned to operate them.

      @@bettyspencer3120 It seem to be nice, but I have not used it for any major projects yet. I have the 2277 model and it is nice and I plan to buy more accessories for it from Singer like sewing feet.

    I loved watching this! I have a Pfaff, love it for 32 years, but I really would like a lighter machine in case I want to travel with it. My Pfaff is metal and very heavy.
    What I'm worried about buying out of state and my area, is I won't have any warranty coverage.
    Also, I assume I'll be paying sales tax? (Michigan). Amazon is offering this machine for $299, yes I would rather buy from you .....

    I ordered it and happy with it. I have been reading all of the instructions and cannot find any info on whether the machine will need oiling. I have the Juki TL-2000 and I have to oil it frequently because I use it nearly every day for quilting. Do you have any info you can share with me?

    Thank you for this video, Vanessa! I am needing a travel machine for my camper and weekly sewing at a park. I tried out a lower end Janome and was very disappointed in the quality of the straight stitch. It remained teenie tiny on quilting cotton no matter what stitch length I set it on. It looks like the straight stitches are well defined, but it is hard to tell if the stitch length really changes. Please advise.

    • @TheCraftyGemini
      @TheCraftyGemini  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Liz, I'm not familiar with the machine you're using but assuming the stitch length selector is working and you're only using two layers of quilting cotton it sounds like the fabric may be too thick for what that machine's feed dogs can handle or there is too much pressure being applied to the fabric from the presser foot itself. I would contact the dealer you bought it from (if you did) or contact the manufacturer. Good luck!
