Thanks Ray for ride/reviewing my request! Much appreciated. Had this bike on my radar for some time, and wanted to see and hear you're take on it. Keep the vids coming and ride safe my man!
I just bought one July 16 2024 Z900RS brand new for 9,999 dollars i owned a lot of motorcycle this my favorite motorcycle out of all of them i love it glad I bought it
1:24 Why? I don’t understand riders who only use front brakes. They’re meant to be used together. Rear brake adds pitch/squat control, slow speed control, so many things including making your front brakes more efficient. Take any advanced motorcycle course and you’ll understand how important the rear brake actually is.
Hello there Ray. Back again. Just want to comment on my blue '22 900 RS. Anyone that says 4 bangers aren't torquey hasn't ridden on e of these. For fun, I took off from a stop sign in 5th. Pulled away impressively. Come around a corner at 8-10 mph in 4th and smooth acceleration, no chugging and your down the road. I have a '23 HD Low Rider S 117 and it definitely has some torque, but I believe the RS pulls down low better. Took it on a 2500 mile ride last year with a tailbag and got around 50 mpg average. Gets lots of compliments and have to say I love the heck out of it. Thanks for the video.
Kawasaki really makes a damn fine motorcycle these days. I remember thinking when I was young that they were a lesser bike to Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki, but these days they might be making the best Japanese bikes. The others are still good, of course, but Kawasaki has really taken things to a new level. Great fit and finish too.
Thanks Ray, I also go back a few years. I started out on Kawasaki two strokes just before 1970. Currently I have a Kawasaki 2024 Z900RS SE and I've only had it for six months and I agree it is fine machine. I'll take to the drag strip in September to see if it is any quicker than my R9T (stolen in August 2022) or my Thruxton R. The stock Dunlop tires aren't great and hold the bike back a bit in the turns. I'm about 170 pounds and needed to soften up the front and rear.
Thanks for a Great review , love your energy , picked up my Z900 RS today and had a smile on face all day , a great machine , old school style with uuumph and attitude , great fun
This bike takes me back to the 70’s (which I can actually remember lol). I’ve always used combination braking and I’m still doing it on the V100S. I still ride with a short sleeved shirt in the summer months and I used to flip the breather top too so don’t feel left out. My best friend almost got us killed flipping the breather because the throttle linkage got stuck wide open once. I enjoyed this video Ray!
That's so cool larry! Man I know you we're wild to it sounds like. Thank God we made it through them years huh. Thanks larry for the smiles talking to ya. Have a AWESOME weekend 🙏🏻.
I have the SE version it is really a pleasure! I was wondering, on a cold start, does the z900rs you tried "shakes" a lot when putting the first gear and put some gaz?
Thanks for caring, your right! I wear a airbag or a Alpinestars Chest protector under my shirt! I know i should wear more but it's a personal Choice- but your Right!
Definitely do you. No judgment here. I was skeptical before I bought a mesh jacket and was surprised by the airflow. It's worth trying one if you get a chance.
You can feel the Wind , but I love the wind- it's part of the experience for me. Nick go sit on one, they make a Cafe model to that would help with the wind.
My 900 RS on a 2500 mile trip - we were on Interstate 80 for hours in Nevada at 85mph and the wind was definitely tolerable. Part of riding a bike- A few bugs are good for 'ya.
My 21 yo son wants a bike. I promised to take the safety class with him. Now i have the itch and really want this bike. Just have to convince the wife. 😂
It's pretty Perfect, depends on your weight- but nothing you should be Scared of. Thanks for being apart of the Channel my friend 🙏🏻, Have a AWESOME Holiday Weekend!!
I have to say that is one hell of a bike and you're exactly right my 1st Street bike was a 76 kz900 ltd and what a change from just riding dirt and hopping on one of them at 17 my first purchase for it was a set of drag bars and a Vance & Hines open header and exhaust what a thrill
Those are awesome Memories my friend! I have some like those as well. Life was so easy at that age- Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, Stay in Touch my friend!! Have a great rest of your week!!

Good to hear Thomas! Have a AWESOME Holiday Weekend my friend!! Stay in Touch!!
That retro styling is much cooler looking than the modern bikes. Too bad it is not as popular today.
I know Shawn- Thanks Shawn for Commenting and being apart of the Channel!! Have a Great Wkend!
I have the SE version it is really a pleasure! I was wondering, on a cold start, does the z900rs you tried "shakes" a lot when putting the first gear and put some gaz?

I know right ✅️, Thanks for Commenting and participating in the channel 🙏🏻.
Hello Ray, Hope you're doing good. Thanks for this video Z900-RS. Does this bike have any riding modes, Traction control ON/OFF, Cruise control?
Traction control I believe YES! Cruise No- Riding Modes is No I think. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Stay in touch!
@@RayBowdenRides just Traction control level 1, 2 or off
@user-uj1mm5jg6c thank you 🙏🏻, Have a Great Sunday!!
@@user-uj1mm5jg6c Thanks..
A mesh javket would be cooler than a long sleeve shirt. I live in Florida and wear a mesh jacket, plenty of air flow.
Thanks for caring, your right! I wear a airbag or a Alpinestars Chest protector under my shirt! I know i should wear more but it's a personal Choice- but your Right!

Thanks man ! For sure. Have a great weekend.
How is it on the highway? Is the wind blast pretty bad or is it all clean air?

@RayBowdenRides cheers Ray you too
Dream bike. But wife says can't afford it. 😑
Well you'll have to work on her! She just needs some encouragement 😂
If you turn the traction control off it will pull the front wheel up easy
It's pretty Perfect, depends on your weight- but nothing you should be Scared of. Thanks for being apart of the Channel my friend 🙏🏻, Have a AWESOME Holiday Weekend!!
@@RayBowdenRides you as well!
As far as wearing a jacket, I’d rather be hot and sweat than bleed.
I hear ya, I'd rather not do either. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
