I know, the hellcats and beyond are cool, but they overshadowed great V8 versions like the RT and original SRT8. It’s hard to even find an RT review online because every magazine and online mag want to review the hellcats and occasionally a wide body scat.
IMO I prefer this look to all the facelifts they had after, an instant winner. Not to say they looked bad, but I don't think they modernized it as well as the Camaro or Mustang
That's good they didn't go sportscar. The small updates were needed for a 15 yr run. I have a 2017 and appreciate the updates. The LED taillights look cooler IMHO. And the dash improved considerably.
I remember first seeing this exact car and color for the first time in 2009. I didn’t think I’d own my 21 rt plus. Love it
I kinda prefer Dodge when there were no Hellcats. The cars were newer and still had lots of power.
Or Demons/170's for that matter 🙂
Yeah they hype of those cars just marked up everything else beneath them
@@brendan.h293 also the naming was better back then. Dodge had GT, RT, SRT, SRT8. Now it's weird names.

Back when Dodge was Dodge.
Very beautiful this Dodge Challenger
2008 challenger is the most gorgeous Challenger ever❤
Dodge Challenger is icon car. Classic and beautiful car

Sadly The Challenger ( and the Charger) are going out of production in 2024, Big Mistake Dodge made for doing that
15 yr run was a good one. Hemi brought excitement, but all good things must come to an end. RIP Challenger, Charger and 300 too 12-31-2023
Single cam v6. Lol I guess they didn't want the v6 to steal v8 sales.
The 3.5 was SOHC, they swapped to the 3.6 in 2011 with DOHC
We want to test drive Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport 2004 and Mercury Marauder 2004 Super Charge and normal version
pretty sure marauder review is on youtube
So this is what George Washington had back in the day!
Rip🙏👋🥹Dodge Challenger! Stellantis just killed you!
All that money for that v8 when a 2002 Altima V6 literally had the same 0-60 time🤦🏽♂️
The v6 will not run with this srt8
dear MotorWeek, please learn how to launch a car a car running at 13 definitely shouldn’t have a 5.0 0-60 time it should be in the low fours
EPA and Tesla Motors incentives are what is killing real V8 muscle cars people
Your president Brandon is killing the muscle car ……….
Its was a slug but fun to drive for 12 years.
The V6 engine in that car was pathetic and slow. Also, the cheap interior of the dodge was not impressive.
Interior is fine in the srt8 for that time. Except that damn steering wheel.
Yeah they phoned in that steering wheel for sure. Reminds me of the first two gens of Viper. Looked like a Dodge Stratus inside.
