Naughty female PCSO as usual being selective with the truth as NONE NONE correctly says a PCSO has no powers under Sec 50 of the 2002 Police Reform Act. This act is known as the police officers friend, it mirrors Sec 5 of the Public Order Act giving a power of arrest for allegedly causing alarm, distress or harassment (even to plods). However the big difference is you are legally obliged to give your details, failure to do so is a separate offence.
As a retired police sergeant the bane of my life was gobby PW's they never knew when to shut up. I don't know whether the extra verbosity was to compensate for their perceived lack of physical stature or just plain penis envy.

I was interested in her statement that she has freedom of speech. I am willing to be corrected however i have been informed that citizens of the UK (and Australia) have no inherent right to free speech, apart from a vague mention under the Declaration of Human Rights which is generally ignored by the authorities.

    • @johnscott4693

Seen it before. She will continue to act this way until she’s badly assaulted on duty. Then they change. Sad but true - they sometimes just don’t listen.

    • @TheSadButMadLad

@@johnvienta7622 You're correct. In the UK this is no right to free speech, but the human rights act does say that the state can't interfere too much. Free speech is that the state can't stop you, not that other members of the public can't stop you. However, police and other people working for the state do have fewer rights as they aren't allowed to voice their political opinions etc.

Its probably more of the fact they are being retrained in common law and not maritime law. The police enforcement officers you see policing the marches are infact military because we are under Marshall law, we currently have a foreign entity in our houses of parliament known as the corporation of London, and the person who you believe to be your prime minister is infact a American citizen who has no powers to govern the UK. You can check on corporation house and see that the British corporation is currently bankrupt, this is why we are locked down and not due to a alledged virus, our bodies are full of viruses and you need to wake up to what is really going on.

Birmingham police think it is okay to say sorry and move on by the souund of it. Two innocent women, working and paying tax called those they PAID to protect therm and the refused to come out.v Do we really therrfore even need police because to my mind they aree only a gang of extortionists and no good to anybody.

All PCSS units should be disbanded immediately. They are not officers but only support staff. They do not follow the original reason why they were created in 2002. It was stated in Parliament that this body would only be the eyes and ears of the police. They will have no powers of arrest or be allowed to drive marked police cars. Subsequently, over the years, many forces having been pushing the boundaries because there is a lack of police officers as they say. By disbanding this second tier the money spent would be better spent on recruiting and properly training fully warranted officers. On a personal level I will have nothing to do with this unwarranted and useless body of incompetence.

🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧Just had a look at the met police dress code and uniformed officers are permitted to wear only 3 types of badge.
1: They are allowed to wear the police memorial badge for the week leading up to st Michaels day(29-09).
2: They are allowed to wear a poppy between 28-10 until 11-11.
3: They are allowed to wear a Help For Hero’s badge or wrist band.
All badges should be worn on the left lapel.
So in the met police they should definitely not be wearing them DISGUSTING THIN BLUE LINE badges and those that do are breaching their own dress code. If the are willing to do that what other rules are they willing to break. Personally I don’t talk to them if they have that shit on the uniforms that WE THE BRITISH PUBLIC provide for them.

The constable you had a nice chat with was good. One point about the blue line gang symbol, if they want to commemorate their fallen colleagues why can't they wear a badge with just a blue line and without the defaced Union Jack. The police use a loophole to wear that badge because it's to do with charity work and charity symbols are allowed with permission, but the blue line symbol has very little to do with charity if it's to do with fallen colleagues.

"Photography is lawful - end of story"
That's actually a very optimistic over-simplified version, as well as not being strictly true. There are several exceptions of when its illegal. It also leads people the think that photographers have rights on private property, which they don't, even if it does have 'public access'.

The French government dropped the bill against filming the police (or at least that part of a wider bill) no doubt in part due to the backlash due to the footage of the six minute long beating of music producer Michel Zecler by police after they barged into his property in the 17th arrondissement. He was arrested and held for several days having been accused of dragging several police officers into the building and attacking them. Claims proven to be false when his security footage was released on social media.

If you trained a PCSO to the same level as a proper PC you would have another proper PC, therefore by definition PCSOs are not trained to the same level as proper PCs therefore everything they say must be treated as coming from somebody who is inadequately trained.
