    African countries MUST trade among their selves to foster self sufficiency as a continent.As s continent blessed with every imaginable raw product for modern day industrial development, their economies integrated can function independently of the rest of the world if needs be. Without Africa 80 % of the so called G7 countries would be poorer than Africa as it is now in its development.These G7 countries do not have the raw materials to sustain their modern development they exhibit now. It's the octopus like set up of the present ŵorld economic order and trading system to benefit the G7 countries ,at the expense of a stymied development of Africa.
    The video was such a fascinating and educational glimpse at the textile industry of Ghana. Wow !!

    Wonderful video. The Kumasi International Airport will be a game changer and give that city the credit it deserves. Also, the Asante monarchy with its checks and balances is top-tier. Very fascinating culture, history, and people.

      GHANA is a REPUBLIC . As such there is no monarchy in Ghana.

    • @edmcgeman5084
      @edmcgeman5084 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @benbo7042 Within that political arrangement or framework labeled as a Republic also exists a Kingdom of, by and for a people. That Kingdom has a Monarchy. You may choose to delude yourself but the reality is immutable and immovable.

    • @edmcgeman5084
      @edmcgeman5084 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The British were amazed about and intrigued by the intricacies of the checks and balance systems underpinning the Asante Kingdom's Monarchy. Based on that system, one of the British Generals then proceeded to declare that the Asante Monarchy was more accountable to the people than their own. And surely, the international Airport is going to be a game changer. How that was not done 20 years ago even solely as a means of an economic engine in that region and afar, is just unbelievable.

    • @abearhin

      @@edmcgeman5084 I think folks forget that the Asante Kingdom existed before the British and colonizers. If we would give compatible democracy a deep dive maybe Africa would not be the basket case it is now. Every system has its flaws but our system of government designed by us, for us works better in my opinion and observation than an alien form of governance.

    • @benbo7042
      @benbo7042 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@edmcgeman5084 Let me ask you villager this question. Why does your Chief travel with a Passport on which it is inscribed : THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA? There is no where in the world where you have a REPUBLIC and a MONARCH at the same time. Google tells us that Africa has only 3 monarchies and they are: The Kingdom of Morocco, the Kingdom of Lesotho, and the Kingdom of Eswatini ( formerly known as Swaziland) You bush people should do more research before you expose your ignorance.

    What does the Black and Red color-cloth represent in Ghana? I had a dream where an elderly woman was sitting on a stool at her front door-she knocked my front teeth and outlined my facial-bone before she allowed me in her house. This dream caused me to visit Africa 6 months ago-The Gambia.
    2025 I am going to Kumasi-Ghana to seek the meaning of the dream from an elder.
    Stool. Percussion. Geometry. These techniques that elder used to vet me in that dream means something very important. She was wearing an outfit wit head-wrap made from RED and BLACK CLOTH.

    @Dela you need to go to the Cocoa board in Old Tafo(less than 2hrs drive from Accra after Koforidua) for the history and details of Cocoa. Been there a couple of times and was still there in November. All those chocolate are produced over there and also al lot of other things like show polish, Rum, Whiskey, Cocoa spread etc
