    Hi Dela, if you are both furnishing those black houses with tan and terricotta brick don't use too much Gold and bronze and black, bring in something a totally different colour that will bring the colours already part the the building. Go for various shades of light grey, blue, cream, off-white, mustard yellow, sage green, this will create balance. don't use tables with gold trim
    . try something different. Good luck,💕💕

    This is great love when you went to the market and meeting local artisans. Keep this app as you will meet many designers/carpenters/furniture makers who can make them more bulky items, probably at a fraction of what you are paying in the stores. Always good to cultivate these kinds of professional relationships. but when you do you have to go to the furniture stores, could you not call or ask to see the manager to get their permission to film, especially as you make it clear that you will be advertising their shop on your channel you may even be able to negotiate a discount. you’re a personable person cultivating good relationships is the key. How’s it working out with your PA? I hope she is able to lighten the load. keep up the good work.

    When looking at artist artwork , it’s not like looking at pictures in a store, we must critique with less emotions and said statements and appreciate the hard work and efforts put into the pieces to share with others. I’m saying that because I am working with global artisans now and I can appreciate how they bring the imagery and place it on canvas etc to share with us.
    Happy you are going to the local artisans. Salaam

    No store anywhere in the world permits filming on their premises; this isn’t unique to Ghana. I understand the desire to capture images for reference, but the reality in Ghana is that you could take a photo of a price today, and by tomorrow, the product might either be unavailable or the price could have changed due to inflation. However, if you had asked for permission in advance and explained it was for a mood board, I doubt they would object. I’m assuming you’re aware of this, as it’s likely not the first time a store has asked you to stop filming or leave. 😊

    • @moretodela
      @moretodela  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It wasn’t that I was trying to hold them to the price I just needed to remember where I saw what. It wasn’t even for a video. Just person use. Also fyi, I’ve told stores plenty of times that it’s for a promotional YT video and they still say no

    • @xdmooo
      @xdmooo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@moretodela I get it, you were just trying to keep track for personal use, not to hold them to the price. But many stores have strict no-filming policies, regardless of the reason. Even when you’ve said it was for TH-cam, they still declined, so they’re firm on this. As a public figure, you probably understand that stores do this to protect customer privacy, prevent competitor access, and control their brand image. It also helps them avoid security risks and potential misrepresentation.

      @xdmooo that is so not true. They do allow in uk. Shops are public places and wgen in a public place if you want to, you can take pictures. The law states when in a public place, three of no expectation of privacy. You are wrong.

      @@kehindeemiabata4032 Please visit Marks & Spencer, take a walk around with your camera, and share your experience with me afterward. Sorry Dela, why does diaspore want special treatment, if you were in the UK and went into a bhop and they told you that you could not film their products you would accept it and walk away but because you are in Ghana or a black country you portray an entitlment attitude, Please stop it and dont fall in this catergory. enjoy your new progress.

    • @Icanfly70
      @Icanfly70 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't see it as "special treatment", I see it more as Ghanaians not understanding how we shop. Ghanaians are all about grabbing your money and go. Westerners, as consumers we are accustomed to having choices, unlike Ghanians. We like to touch, feel, sit on, try it on (kick the tires) before we make a purchase, and most retailers where we come from understanding that. Trust me there aren't many Ghanaians out shopping like this, if these store want our money then they must learn consumers shopping behavior to sell to us. Foreigners are most of their customers.
