    I passed with a 772. I finished it with 36 minutes remaining. Glad it is done. Now next step in my life is hands on training. Yes, I also watched some of your videos.

    Passed mine yesterday. It was a difficult exam and well crafted. from my own experience, I found network plus easier. I scored 81 to 85 at 4 of Jason Dion Tests and was pretty confident .Vincent explained it properly here about knowing the concepts before you can confidently feel like you got each question correct.. Just keep answering, its very demoralizing but you are probably getting the answers correctly. My PBQ were more difficult than what I saw throughout my studies. Firewall setups were very advanced. Vulnerability search results interpretations and how they look on CMD. Overall, study well, you ll probably pass

      @vincenthumble  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, Bryan! The test was so demoralizing, right?! But I think it's a sign of a well-written test that truly tests your knowledge of the topics thoroughly, not your ability to use process of elimination on multiple choice. Thanks for watching!

    Congratulations, man! I used your practice test videos to help practice for the last few days before my exam and I passed a few days ago. Thanks for the help!

      @fraskie66 ปีที่แล้ว

      Would you say that the CompTIA Practice exam was similar in anyway to the actual exam that you took? Also what all PBQ did you get? I see most people mention configuring a firewall. But did yours include RAID?

    • @Josh-r5s
      @Josh-r5s ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fraskie66 Sorry it's been a few months, but I'd say all of the multiple choice questions touch on something within the exam objectives. The majority were pretty straightforward like what sort of phishing attack targets people via phone calls/voicemail? Vishing. If the practice exam touches on the exam objectives, then I'd say it's similar. For the PBQs I got a question asking me to identify types of attacks and how to mitigate them, I got a firewall investigation one, and the third had to do with configuring a basic network. I think one or two of the multiple choice questions related to RAID.
      The biggest tip I can give is to do the multiple choice first, then go back to the PBQs, because the PBQs can take a good amount of time.

    I passed just yesterday. Your videos helped me a great deal. THANK YOU for posting your videos on Security+ I was so happy when I learned that I passed. I followed your advice on studying. You were exactly right! I studied for 2 months straight. I took online tests but never passed one. The closest I came was %87 on Udemy one time. The Udemy test was harder than the real thing but I have to say that the look and feel was exactly the same. I'm glad it was harder because it made me feel that I needed to study more. Still feel like I need to LOL. Although the wording was slightly different, I have to say that Udemy prepared me the most. Professor Messer's videos are good but Udemy was by far the best.

    I just passed two hours ago. There were a LOT of questions with ambiguous answers (to the point that even tactics like deductive-reasoning were challenging).
    I had 3 PBQs that weren’t hard, but VERY time-consuming. I ran out of time before I finish the last PBQ but passed anyway with a 770.
