I chose 1.0MT after watching your 2yr old review and some more. Owning it for more than 6 months, I feel a dwindle in AC, interior and features compared to Rapid or Vento. But the 1.0 manual feels more swift at low speeds. Good top speeds, efficient if driven tranquil.

True. That's the primary difference between proper premium brand and the koreans. I can say it better than anyone here with confidence as i have both creta and kudhaq. @motowagon, I don't own a car, but i have question here, if im buying Automatic car of Skoda Kushaq can i still use the gear manually, if want to drive manually?
The automatic variant for the Gt.in taigun and the 1.5 in kushaq is very high compared to its competitors .. i recently got the torque converter automatic 1 litre taigun high line (without sunroof, push button start etc) coming to around 18.6 lakhs .. liked gt variant more but was 6 lakhs higher
Really a good review on drive aspect of kushaq Had sold a 2022 diesel i20 and purchased kushaq 1.5 manual ambition variant in December 2023 . had crossed 3k kms with 3 long trips. Had sold my 2021 i20 diesel since I felt the suspension is neither mature enough to handle the pot holes nor it is soft .Though the 1.5 diesel engine is powerful enough to easily cruise at 100 + .unfortunately the chassis cannot handle the engine power u will loose confidence when u sense a mild vibration in foot well and pedal when vehicle crosses 100+ As explained very clearly in the video kushaq is suitable for ppl looking for good handling ,safety and comfort. The comprise I see in kushaq after using a new i20 diesel (currently discounted ) the manual gear box is not as smooth as Hyundai’s and as rightly pointed out the AC is not powerful . that was the main reason I opted 1.5 EVO manual instead of 1 L . But still the AC is not so powerful .for instance yesterday I happened to travel in a seltos for around 25 km ,being in rear seat and the FATC temp at 23 C ,I could feel a normal cooling wheareas in my kushaq we cannot go above 19 or 20 C , using Auto mode improved the AC cooling a bit but eventually the mileage takes a hit . Moreover on the rear seat comfort it’s difficult for 3 adults , but u can see the instances when u use the car with 5 ppl and for long distance, then you have really get all of them for test drive and take a decision. However the width of the car is just 30mm to 40 mm less than the competitors. Unlike Honda city /elevate even a portion of door pads accommodate us which feels the car is spacious which is not the case in 2.0 platforms VW/Skoda . I am happy with dynamics of the car which I had missed .moreover the confidence once improvement from i20 diesel to 1.5TSI . However it’s unfair to compare a diesel with petrol
i have 1.0 tsi manual. there is big lag in second gear. this makes tension on highways during sudden downshifting . i wouldn't recommend to anyone to buy 1.0 tsi.
Dear @MotoWagon Team, Could you make a video about Steel wheels, Alloy Wheels and Wheel Caps, Are the good looking wheel caps like Kia Sonet, be ok only if look is concern and not really want alloy wheels?, Different options of wheel caps, How different the Alloy Wheels are from Steel Wheels which is more trusted? etc.. If possible the evolution of the wheels and different Tyres sizes and brands. It can be a good Podcast covering up these area.
For the kind of confidence the car gives to drive at 150 kmph with effortless lane change with the kind of safety features like Electronic slip differential, multi collision braking, brake disc wiping, motor slip regulation which no other competitors are giving over and above abs, ebd, traction control, please come out of that mind set this car is costly and all other stuffs… Korean top end cars are still costlier than taigun top end which no body is complaining about. The plastics used in VW cars are not on par when compared to their predecessors but definitely on par with Koreans.
Yes bro Cons: 1. Looks more like hatchback 2. 5 cannot sit comfortably. Meant for 4 only 3. Mileage gets a hit even when you drive slightly spiritedly 4. Spare parts are too costly 5. Imported engine so additional cost goes into that both in manufacturing and maintenance 6. Not enough road presence 7. Interior plastics not worthy of 25Lakhs Pros: 1. Best Csuv dynamics you can find in the market. Still way behind Rapid/Polo dynamics 2. Great power/torque 3. 4 cylinder petrol engine hence less noise 4. 5 star build quality 5. Fun to drive
On the flip side, it is as spacious as some of their rivals and easy to maneuver (legroom and knee room are on par with the rivals)...but not wide enough to accommodate well built 3 people on the back, and boot is really usable too and
Videos are really nice. But this petrol itself produce more torque 250 Nm till higher rpms compared to diesel engines which dips the torque at 2500/3000 rpm max. You always mention torque nature is missing. Diesel has pulling feel truly, but both petrol and diesel engines are having good torque, infact petrol engine maintain torque at high speed.
After seeing the rear camera i was highly pissed on the top model , honda amaze has a very good back camera . But rest of features I liked in. still waiting for good Suv in the market. i dont what the heck happened to HONDA
VW taigun > kushaq 1.0 top end is enough and powerful If u want little more power pulling power means 1.5 good but not worth for 25lakh if it 22L means worth top end I’m saying
உங்களுக்கு எப்போதும் வெளிநாட்டு கார்களின் மீது தான் மோகம். ஏன் நமது இந்திய தயாரிப்பான மகேந்திரா XUV300 உங்கள் கண்களில் படவில்லையா? Mahandra XUV 300 is a really fun to drive car. XUV 300 is a safe and high performance.
Both vehicles' customers are different. If one going to buy skoda won't consider harrier and vice versa coz of different requirements....and harrier topend costs 33L with more features and entirely different segment altogether....
@@gokulbala3096 i think you are skoda fans and don't have knowledge about other cars. Go, open your eyes and see the price of tata harrier it starts from 16 to 33 lakhs you can get mid variant of tata harrier around 26 lakhs with automatic with good engine and refinement. Better read about the cars and comment otherwise you will get trolled😊👍🏻
@@snd4425 No sir..not a skoda fan...I have driven many brands' car for 7 to 8 years and have immense knowledge about cars ....What iam trying to say is, if someone decides to buy harrier pure plus S AT at 25L(as u mentioned), he has no point of considering a lower segment topend car for 24L.. coz his requirements, usage and priorities are entirely different....hope u get my point..
I have the Slavia 1.5 DSG. None of these cars (Taigun, Kushaq, Slavia, Virtus) have the solid VW/Skoda feel like the Polo/Vento/Rapid/Octavia or Laura. Feels very flimsy by VW standards. More like Honda.
@@kaviarasu11107 I agreed Bro. But a few points from my side 😉 The Nissan Magnite and the Skoda Kushaq are both popular choices in the compact SUV segment. Here’s a brief comparison: Price: The Skoda Kushaq is priced at Rs. 11.89 Lakh, while the Nissan Magnite is more affordable at Rs. 6.00 Lakh. Engine: Both cars have a 999 cc petrol engine. However, the Kushaq’s engine delivers a higher power of 114 bhp compared to the Magnite’s 71 bhp. Mileage: The Kushaq provides a mileage of 19.76 kmpl, slightly higher than the Magnite’s 19.35 kmpl. Dimensions: The Kushaq is longer and wider, but the Magnite has a higher ground clearance. Boot Space: The Kushaq offers more boot space (385 litres) than the Magnite (336 litres).
@@Jaganth16 magnite is a car for different set of people's .kushaq is a car for different set of people's. Who buys kushaq won't consider mileage and price who buys magnite considers mileage and price. Kushaq is a driver's car. Magnite is a decent everyday car you can't expect a performance from magnite the only way to compare is 1 liter turbo in magnite to kushaq 1 liter turbo. Even with that there is no same power out put and the driving dynamics you won't find in any other car below kushaq. There is no comparison between these two. you will understand if you take a test drive of kushaq.
Entire video , the car is keep shaking even in highways This is the problem in Taigun and kushaq Poor AC performance Poor roof lines Poor headlight throw Poor interior plastics Poor rear camera quality
Good high speed stability Good driving dynamics Good steering feedback Good breaks Good safety measures.. You won't understand above values in German products.. Koreans waiting for you.. 😅

The plastics used in VW cars are not on par when compared to their predecessors but definitely on par with Koreans.
Wish you mentioned about reduced service cost of VW cars (incl Skoda) esp with Service packages which costs around 30K for 4 years
He did mention in short I guess towards the end of video.
We are expecting the review of venue diesel
25 lakhs is over priced for this and that reflects in sales volume.
Not 25 laks now price down for kushak
Yes. Over priced for the build quality. Complete cheap plastic interiors. Yenga thottalum rattling noise. Looks um sumar dhan.
True
Yes bro
Cons:
1. Looks more like hatchback
2. 5 cannot sit comfortably. Meant for 4 only
3. Mileage gets a hit even when you drive slightly spiritedly
4. Spare parts are too costly
5. Imported engine so additional cost goes into that both in manufacturing and maintenance
6. Not enough road presence
7. Interior plastics not worthy of 25Lakhs
Pros:
1. Best Csuv dynamics you can find in the market. Still way behind Rapid/Polo dynamics
2. Great power/torque
3. 4 cylinder petrol engine hence less noise
4. 5 star build quality
5. Fun to drive

Taigun and Kushaq look like sub four meter SUVs which is a major drawback
On the flip side, it is as spacious as some of their rivals and easy to maneuver (legroom and knee room are on par with the rivals)...but not wide enough to accommodate well built 3 people on the back, and boot is really usable too and
Nice review

Mahandra XUV 300 is a best fun to drive car with best budget. Safety rating 5 star.

What's the attachment with the Rear view mirror?!

@@gokulbala3096 oh super super
Good content
After seeing the rear camera i was highly pissed on the top model , honda amaze has a very good back camera . But rest of features I liked in. still waiting for good Suv in the market. i dont what the heck happened to HONDA
I actually liked Taigun better but I think features are less in Taigun
VW taigun > kushaq
1.0 top end is enough and powerful
If u want little more power pulling power means 1.5 good but not worth for 25lakh if it 22L means worth top end I’m saying
Its a car meant for people who love driving.
Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq yethu best na

XUV 300 is a safe and high performance.

Tata harrier is better for this price, what you say
Both vehicles' customers are different.
If one going to buy skoda won't consider harrier and vice versa coz of different requirements....and harrier topend costs 33L with more features and entirely different segment altogether....
It's not 25 l under 25l see properly
@@gokulbala3096 i think you are skoda fans and don't have knowledge about other cars. Go, open your eyes and see the price of tata harrier it starts from 16 to 33 lakhs you can get mid variant of tata harrier around 26 lakhs with automatic with good engine and refinement. Better read about the cars and comment otherwise you will get trolled😊👍🏻
@@gowthamkarthikeyan25 thanks mate 👍🏻
@@snd4425 No sir..not a skoda fan...I have driven many brands' car for 7 to 8 years and have immense knowledge about cars ....What iam trying to say is, if someone decides to buy harrier pure plus S AT at 25L(as u mentioned), he has no point of considering a lower segment topend car for 24L.. coz his requirements, usage and priorities are entirely different....hope u get my point..
Kindly Do more review for EVs, it's the future, economic, digital.... these car's are not value for money
Very expensive for a 3 cylinder setup. This reflects in its sales

Nissan Magnate better.Only drawback is 1L engine Agree?
No. Magnite will never come close in any aspect to kushaq.
@@kaviarasu11107 I agreed Bro.
But a few points from my side 😉
The Nissan Magnite and the Skoda Kushaq are both popular choices in the compact SUV segment. Here’s a brief comparison:
Price: The Skoda Kushaq is priced at Rs.
Skoda வேஸ்ட் கார்.. Value for money இல்ல... இந்த கம்பெனியும் Ford மாதிரி மூடிட்டு ஓடிருவாங்க 😮🤭
Entire video , the car is keep shaking even in highways
This is the problem in Taigun and kushaq
Poor AC performance
Poor roof lines
Poor headlight throw
Poor interior plastics
Poor rear camera quality
Good high speed stability
Good driving dynamics
Good steering feedback
Good breaks
Good safety measures..
