But I always hated that toy as a kid.
It never seemed to "snap" back together and stay.
I remember it being such a headache, that we just used the "saddle" as the entire bike.

I was hoping this was about a full sized replica lmao. Then I thought since it was metal it could have been an actual prop from ILM. Turns out it's just a prototype toy from Kenner from the 80s...I guess that's cool?

To be fair, there were lots of kenner toys that were misrepresented to us in the UK back then. When first in catalogs, jabba the hut was a blue white and his throne looked very different from the official release we got. Other toys were the same with parts put on upside down or back to front. Keep up the awesome work my friend! 😁👍

Man , that is extra messed up, considering the number of actors ,especially in the first film, that were from the Kingdom of Albion. Especially , one Sir Alec Guiness. Who,with his clout and acting talent gave merit to Star Wars. Without Sir Alec, I really don't think that peoples' love for Star Wars would be quite what it is today .

Since you're toy channel I'll share something I found odd as a kid. In 1999 when Star Wars Episode I came out, there was an action figure of Mace Windu with a blue lightsaber. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but after Episode II came out I thought about that toy with it's wrong lightsaber. I know we didn't know what color it was going to be since we never see Windu's lightsaber in Episode I, but it's still kinda funny.

Holy crap, I'm in the UK and I vaguely remember having issues with SW toys, I had, not looking like pictured ones and had arguments with relatives or friends about how they should be put together either as the picture shows or as it is in the films.

Really often Kenner sent items to General Mills subdivisions company around the world. In France, Miro-Meccano subdivision received and snap a Blue Snaggletooth figure and print the picture on the back of the card. As a kid we were wondering where that figure come from and only start to know about the story behind in 1990 when I bough T.N. Tumbusch "Space Adventure Collectibles" book in an import comics shop in Paris. That book was like reading the bible for Star Wars Toys collectors back then !

a 3 megapixel digital camera cost a minimum of $US500 in today's dollars in 2003. About 50 million were sold worldwide that year. They weren't that common. I was taking a photography course in Melbourne, Australia at the time and only one student in my class had access to a digital camera more advanced than the piece of crap you'd get on a cell phone back then. The cameras on our cell phones were of such low resolution that no one would have been able to tell the difference between a nude pic and an image of a prototype sarlacc
