I counted about 135 cases, but since the pallet has 72 per pallet I'm guessing he got 2 full pallets for a total of 144 cases. If the ballpark price rudy paid is 25000, then he paid about 43 dollars per 36 pack lot. He is selling the 36 pack lots at 75 dollars with free shipping and sealed cases at 280 free shipping. At the time of this comment he is selling both lots at an equal rates based on the number from the listing. Assuming he sells an equal amount of both listings that will bring the average per 36 packs will be 72.50. Ebay fees plus paypal fees will be about 10%. At a guestimate of about 5 shipping per sale we are looking at about 12.50 lost to shipping and fees per sale which will bring the net revenue to be about 60 per 36 packs. That is 17 dollars profit per 36packs. 9750 dollars profit on the whole lot for a net profit of 40%. Not bad if his estimate of one month to sell out proves to be accurate.

Shipping is more expensive unless he gets some incredible business rates. He also paying income tax on the profit. Best case scenario only 15%, but he seems to do good business so likely more like 25%.

Wow, I couldn't help myself. I had to listen to "Heretic, Hero" from the Original Halo 2 Soundtrack, Volume 1 after hearing the intro music. Halo will never cease to ignite the embers within my soul. The shop is does looking ver nice now more and every patch.

I was really excited when I saw the first few videos in this series. Sat down, talked about the contract, talked about the store location selection, how to lay out and set up the store, cost of furnishing, type of furnishing, etc... I've been really let down by the past few of these. The fan wall is growing, the fake cards look fake... but... how is the card shop going? What problems or progress have you made? That was interesting for me going into this. Would like to see more of that again please.
128 boxes * 4 a case = sub $50 a case paid... sell even at a discount at 70-75 a box = huge profit. I didn't count exactly but thats my rough figure. 9 high 11 wide plus a half stack in the front. You did good on this steal.

people commenting about the 25k thing, please remember rudy is excellent at weighing and balancing purchases, there will be a bigger picture here, e.g cashback on credit cards, rewards for big purchases etc. reduces the cost of the items and inevitably turns them into profit.

I'm not doing the credit stuff, but the principle is basically connections right? Credit like crazy, then connections to distributors n stuff so you catch them juicy deals? Like how do you find the behind the scene stuff, other vids you say you get a call like 'hey, hey rudy'. When I am older I'll keep this stuff in mind. Right now this is more of a hobby thing for me.

Dude it crashed before because of Yugioh, I was talking to a card shop owner in 2003 said he'll never get burned by Pokemon again.

If only you were in southern/central California. I would have offered you expedited PC repair services no labor fees. Mine crashed a few years ago and dealing with the headache of having it fixed made me decide to learn how to fix them myself. Now I have an intern and get paid to drink coffee. Buddy... Oof, tbh the code cards and certain singles yes (especially during that time). These are one of those times in pokemon tcg's economic history where code cards on these were at a premium for the ptcgo economy (it was the base currency at the time, they choose an item and based their value on it), so the packs jumped in value due too the code, some singles were up their but yeah, be careful on the pokemon's and research this more thoughly, especially on cost.
