  • Want to learn how to carve a Leaf! In this video I will show you how to realistically carve ripples, curves and veins into wood. I’m using limewood to carve ivy leaves for a large upcoming project. Limewood is the best wood for carving and the best carving tools are my Pfeil, I highly recommend them!

Excellent and the attaching them to what I assume is sculpted concrete was very artistic! Bravo!

    Wow, that was awesome!
I like the intro, the repeating "wood chips getting blown away"- thing, and the music.
Did you pour the concrete yourself? I love the contrast of the wood against the gray. And the detail of the concrete being in the shape of branches - simply elegant.
Your videos never fail to amaze me. Thank you!

HI Paul, that is very kind! Now i have to try and make each video better than the one before! Yes i did make and mold and pour the concrete in. The whole project video will be out when it is finished! I like the piece... its a sculpter representing the contrast between Urban and Nature

I didn't want to put that kind of pressure on you 😬
After all, it should be about you having fun!
I like the idea behind the sculpture, and it looks cool, too.

This is not so much how to carve a leaf, but rather watch me expertly carve a leaf ...with my eyes closed...while asleep. 👍😉
