Your work is perfection. You truly are an artist. I too have been a carver of wood and still desire to carve but sadly one eye is now blind so my depth of field is poor. But after watching your work I'm going to pick up my carving tools and try.

A master of the craft of carving wood.
The chisels/ carving blades that you use are quite small, obviously for the more intricate work, is it possible to buy such small tools ?? As I do not think I have seen anything that small over here in the UK.

I carve netsuke. I make the piece out of plasticine first so that I have a true size reference piece to follow. That way I can monitor my progress over the time that it takes to carve.
Netsuke is good. I think its a sure and good way to do it.
