how do we know how long to make the strap?

Hi there @emmaatkinson92, drape your webbing strap around your shoulder all the way down to your hipbone or desired length, add 3 - 4". 2" for tucking in raw edges on both ends of your strap, the other 1-2" is for how far your d ring tabs are to the zipper of your bag (like this project here: th-cam.com/video/6x6BcC0If3c/w-d-xo.html ).
