A Landscape Photographer On Holiday in the UK #4 - Lizard Point on a calm, sunny day

  • My wife and I spent the month of September touring England and Wales and I managed to sneak in a few photo shoots and vlogs along the way.
This is the fourth video from Lizard Point and it typifies what was to become a recurring and expected theme - trying to make landscape photographs while on a 'road trip' holiday (we covered 2162 miles, stayed in 15 locations and visited more than 50 sites in 30 days) is not easy. You can't get to all locations you'd like at the best times of the day and you can't go back to a location if the weather was terrible. Indeed, you can't even get to all the locations on your bucket list - too many places, too little time.
We got to Lizard Point in mid morning, the sun was shining brightly and there was no wind so I opted for some long exposure shots. I also step through using a combination of filters (Polariser, graduated ND and ND) to get the shot I was looking for by using filters to manage the harsh lighting conditions.
    Hope you enjoy :-)
