I needed this video 3 years ago lol. Good to know about the semi-permanent color. I always use the ion permanent brights in red with 20 or 30 developer. I have thin fragile hair as well. I’ve been wanting to change it up. Thinking of applying a medium brown to tone my red and not have to dye it so much. I’ve been red for 5 years. Any recommendations?
I colored my hair red last week. L'oreal hicolor in magenta. It hasn't faded much. I think it's still too dark to use a semi-permanent since I did color it over dyed hair. It's more of a wine color now.
Karen AGL build up happens after a loooongg time it is not so much a problem - I apply color over color all the time eventually it just gets slightly darker - it’s not as big a deal as it sounds
I’m tying to get my hair a dark burgundy. Can I know the exact color you use to get a dark burgundy/maroon color. And do you straighten your hair from time to time. I straighten my hair a lot? Will the color strip off?
Rokyyas Syt I have listed the colors that I use in the description box and also in the suggested videos (the little i above the video) I do straighten my hair sometimes but not enough to make a difference in my hair color - I have heard that heat fades the color faster but I don’t use heat often enough to give an opinion on that
Yea I can confirm the L’Oréal hi-color highlights really works the best. They are very bright when I used the magenta color I put it over dark hair with 40vl developer it was soo bright like fire engine I didn’t expect it to lift so much I was able to fix it with a light brown hair dye that I only left in for about 10-15 mins in case you find that it’s too bright at least that’s what I did
Omg I have watched thousands of you tube how to maintain red hair this is the best most consistent knowledgeable one! Thank you
I love the way you do your hair so beautiful!!
