I have the 2007 BMW K1200GT and love it. Please note this is NOT a beginners bike. It’s a wonderful machine that will be brutally fast if you want it to be. Please note though, the scenery comes up pretty fast at 150mph. The bike loves to go fast. Then faster still. But It will bite you in the butt if you don’t have the ability, experience and common sense to ride it. Be safe but have fun.
I bought my '08 K12GT in 2018 and first saw this video over the following winter. One word: EXHILARATING!! Above 4-5k RPM the engine's personality changes to a snarling beast. Can't say I've taken it anywhere near these speeds and I'm good with that :D
first of all, dont be scared of this bike. It does roar to life, but at 130 you can ride safely as well. If youre worried just up your mph by 5 every time you go out. Get comfortable at that speed and then go up from there. 90-95-100. maybe you spend three or four days on 115. who cares. You’ll get there.
I looked at one of these bikes today and was on the fence as I just sat on it in the show room... you have 1000% sold me on it. Going to go buy it tomorrow!! Thanks!!
