I really like this. Most videos about visual mods are catered solely towards people with high end pcs. This feels more accessible towards people with just mid-tier hardware.
Your Graphics Setup is coincidentally alsmost exactly the same as mine and I spend tens of hours trying different combinations and this is truly the best I have seen so far :)

It's really hard to know where to begin with that stuff with SOOO many options. I've legitimately never heard of Easy NPC, so can't wait to check that out. Hey, what do you think of the People of Skyrim and the People of Skyrim Part 2? Are they redundant with anything on this list? Also, thoughts on Relationship Dialogue Overhaul? @ryan roberts you need to donwload a lot more mods than the listed in this guide, like for rudy enb you need a whole other mods for fixes and for lux ther are a lot of patches in the installation

I have to say, its going to be a real challenge for elderscrolls 6 to be on the same level as a well modded skyrim. Also, the nude statues are pretty immersive, have you ever been to a museum? nudity was in everything in the past, they was obviously very cultured back then :)
I have to say, as someone only just coming back to skyrim this week after years, well before SE and AE, this is one of the best lists for baseline upgrades to the game. Its a large list compared to my old playthroughs on its own, but it all feels like parts that should have been baseline that will make my next playthrough so much better. If I can manage to get them working together that is, theres some parts i've left out of my load order simply because I dont know how to set them up. lol
Elevated npc looks really pretty. Its lore friendly but soft, reminds me of academic classicism paintings. I’d also highly recommend Tragedian's Fabulous Followers SSE, which has a similar style. And no one has made a video on it yet.
thank you so much. Just spent the last 3 days modding from scratch. Your guide was easy enough and I had everything downloaded in under a few hours. Then I went on to figure out animations, gameplay, etc. Your video was very helpful to kickstart my new modlist. Game looks beautiful! I think I will put my own shader however, and the indoors are still sometimes a bit too dark.
It's truly a deep dark rabbit hole of textures, trees, grasses, lighting mods out the wazu, etc. As a new modder I am literally lost when it comes to searching nexus mods for enhancements bc there are so dang many. Some mods seem way overcomplicated for me to even try bc they make my brain feels like it's bogged down in the swamps of Black Marsh. 😅 I hope to find good mods that i won't have to replace bc there was a way better option i never ran across. I think you're channel will help me quite a bit with this so I am glad it popped up in my feed. Thanks much for your work & giving advice so others won't have such a hassle.
Some of these mods look really nice. I'm just happy i finally got my huge mod overhaul of 360 mods all working with no bugs. Only took 6 days lol but it feels awesome to have it working flawlessly
Great video! I really like the way you took a theme and then showcased several mods around it. So many others just throw together a bunch of unrelated mods. Have you ever thought about doing a showcase of an author's mods (i.e., take a single mod author and showcase his/her/ work)?

Ngl, I usually alt tab and listen to ppl's mod lists for skyrim and fallout, but somehow I always get hooked on your videos, nice shots, cool views and hot dayum Umbra!
Though that would be cool, I dont think he will. He uses MO2, not vortex, so there's no native way for him to do so. And transferring lists from one to the other is... time consuming at best, but game destroying at worst.
@@rekselreignsun7359 I know, but they said collection, so I assumed vortex, as that is a vortex exclusive functionality. Last in checked, wabbajack and collections aren't compatible.

I'm an old school Gen-x gamer and could care less about Discord so again thanks for making this as simple as possible

Hey Mern and Community. At first I’m new into the modding stuff so big thanks for all the explanations and community support because I have not much of a clue what I’m even doing. But I’m very open to lern everything. Since most of the bigger mod come in different version for 1.6x AE and 1.5x SE version I wonder if I better stick to the Aneversity Edition or downgrade to the older version. Because not every mod is updated yet and some of them like the .Net Framework sounding to useful to miss out.
From experience, every time skyrim has an update it experiences growing pains for a while in the modding community. Eventually though, most mods will be compatible with the Anniversary Edition. It's better in the long run to prepare for the future than to downgrade.

Because I study Informatics in Germany and it is very similar to the hustle programmers go through programming library in there free time. I don’t really care about any of the Creation Club Content and I’m not shure Bethesda makes any fixes or optimizations. So I thought it might be a good solution beside the problem that new mods won’t be compatible. Sadly due to my research it seams there no plans to update .Net Framework. Is there anything other or better to generate crash logs or logs in general that I missed? Couse i love to read trough logs to understand things and pin point problems.

Do you know the mod immersive blackout ? It close the game on a black screen here and then, simulating a total blackout of your character. It's so immersing that the mod is secretly included in every mods. I love it.
I think the laundry, outhouse, visual addon mods are my favourites. I can excuse a below average looking game if the small touches and details are on point. Nice vid.
There are excellent updated graphic mods for other old classic pc game too, it's called *State of Decay 1* nexusmod have even 4K textures mods as well.
Can we use "Skyland AIO" with "Static Mesh Improvement Mod"? Cause some mods (e.g., Skyrim 2018 by Pfuscher) require Static Mesh mod, or does Skyland AIO work as a substitute?

What's your pc spec? I have laptop which runs Witcher 3 on minimal setting and I wonder if Skyrim with these mods will run smoothly.
