When the X-Men all return to the present, it's going to be one messy family reunion for past, present, and future; especially with Gambit potentially coming back and on Apocalypse's Side.

Oh yeah Gambit is coming back as one of Apocalypse’s Four Horsemen and if the story continues as it did in the comics he will also get Wolverine too.
Storm First. She's too powerful for Apocalypse not to notice. She's definitely a horsemen, she wasn't even shown in the finale ( although I think she's in the future, where Apocalypse already ruled the world)

I love how they're adapting comic storylines from the 90s. Takes me back to be being a teen owning all these books. Every weekend I was buying comics. If Kevin Feige can make the MCU reboot anywhere near as great as X-Men 97, they'll make money for years to come😊

Well he does reform in the comics and is a part of the quiet council(Karakoan Governing body) with charles and Magneto in Karakoa(the new mutant homeland after Genosha gets destroyed ) until he retires to another dimension. I dont know if that will happen but would be fun to see non comic book readers react to it. (They have shifted from the comics already though like sinister and sebastian shaw are also in the council.and well shaw is dead while sinister is... beyond reform and even in the comics eventually gets imprisoned for killing mutants.

We still don't know what happen to Morph, Storm, and Wolverine. Maybe they didn't travel to the past and future. Maybe they trap some place else like some where in space and time. Like what happen to bishop in 90's animated series.

Agreed, that high tech city does not seem like it belongs to En Sabu Nher, more like Rama Tut Kang.
Since Kang does use a type of celestial like technology, this is how En Sabu Nher will become Apocalypse.
Season 2 will be a mix of Age of Apocalypse + Onslaught saga plus other storylines weaved in.
How did you come to that conclusion? The ending of this episode is mostly Rise of Apocalypse and Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix

En Sabah Noor means Morning Light in arabic, or maybe better term is Dawn, which also has significance in XMen universe since he is the "dawn" (or first) of mutantkind. Sabah is Morning and Noor is Light. But Egypt in 3000 BC nobody spoke arabic so its kinda historically innacurate, but i overlook that detail because XMen is awesome lol

they should've changed it for sure, but this has been a known error for decades, and so I just headcanon it as it's from a dialect predating Arabic that sounds similar, but probably means something else. Apocalypse and Joker are without a doubt my favoured villains, if you consider Magneto a sometimes anti-hero.
I goo thought that it meant "morning light" or "good morning" (we say it when we wake up ) , but after some research , I found that it meant seven lights and it is read like "sabaa nur"

It is Cable. In the comics, Nathan was brought to the future by Askani. There, he was raised by Slim and Red.
Nate Grey only existed aftet AoA and Cable would've been what Nate Grey is if he was not infected by TO Virus

I am pretty sure season 2 was already completed so he did all those episodes. It won't be until season 3 that we might see a different style although I hope not.

That's true, but they were sent specifically to points where Kang is known to be around. Ancient Egypt and a far-off future where Nathan came from. I'm still gonna lean on Kang and hope for some good stories on his part.

Onslaught is going to be in season 3. In the comics, he didn't appear until 3 years after Fatal Attraction.
I think they are holding off Onslaught until season 3. We will probably see more hints of his development throughout season 2. It will be a slow build, but worth the wait.
Apocalypse must of found out how powerful Gambit is when he destroyed the giant sentinel. So Apocalypse decided to revive Gambit so he can become his horseman of death. It real be very emotional for Rouge trying to get Gambit back helping him remember who he is. And telling Gambit how much she loves him.
I love the little insight we see into the greater marvel universe it's like all the crossover that spiderman : the animated series had.
See, now maybe I'm wrong, but this is possibly the most perfect Marvel TV finale since the ending of Loki season 2. The action, the struggle, the introduction of Apocalypse. All of it made for one hell of a season finale, and this was definitely worth me staying up until almost 4:00 in the morning so I could watch this.
Anyways, if the writers of this show are hired to write the MCU X-Men movie, I have no doubt in my mind that they'll finally be done justice on the big screen at long last. Now bring on season 2 already, dammit!!!
Scoopers are saying that Marvel Studios is looking for writers that can do a good balance of seriousness and comedy for the upcoming MCU X-Men reboot movie.

@@jenisia3600you're just mad cuz they added a little bit of progressive theming in but they balanced it to the lore of the old comics X-Men has always been the diversity team, and plus the girls that actually got some screen time in this series really don't get it that much or get the proper respect they deserve in the movies like storm and rogue.

Now, this’ll be interesting for apocalypse.
Although, considering Necrosha is a story; I reckon that’ll be a plot point but I’m going to be annoyed if Apocalypse steals this one from Selene just like when Bastion took E is for Extinction from Cassandra.

Anyways my predictions is:
Scott and jean are in the future were Apocalypse rules hence the people of Askani (rebels of Apocalypse)
While Magneto's team are in the past, of En Sabah el noor.
Gambit will be revived, thats 100% certain, he and storm will be the horsemen. Possibly wolverine to, whose adamantium might be restored.
