- This episode is about 2nd day of our journey of Konkan region, Coastal Maharashtra. This particular episode was shot on 18th sept. Nagaon is at a distance of 6 km from Alibaug, Many tourist prefer to stay here overnight and travel to Alibaug, Murud, Kashid and come back to Nagaon for overnight stay.

We stayed at Sidz cottage in Nagaon which cost Rs 6500 for weekends, with breakfast and Rs 5000 on a weekday.
Then we visited Chaul, there we saw the ancient stone inscription of 8th century, Chaul Bazar.
We had our breakfast at Nivaant homestay, breakfast, we enquired about rooms - Rs 1500 per person, with 3 meals, rooms are bigger, a Total number of rooms is 5.

Breakfast - Tea with Breakfast one item Rs100 (Panki & Kol Poha)
Hamam Khana - 14th Structure, it is Managed by ASI.
Suhasini Villa chaul - Rs 2500 per room (double occupancy)
Revdanda Fort & Beach - Both are nearby each other.
Near Revdanda Beach, we decided to have lunch at La Mer Resort Revdanda beach also check the room, which is around ₹ 5000 per day for double occupancy with breakfast. We ordered thali, the taste was homely.
Mount Carmel Church - This is a small village with a population of 300 people who speak Crayol language which is a mix of Portuguese and Marathi.
Dinner Patil Khanaval at Murud, we stayed at lodge Murud Plaza, which is next to Patil Khanaval.

Harish sir, you really missed visiting Korlai fort. I had been there almost 15-16 yrs ago and I still remember how we entered the fort from the road, which then lead us directly to the sea while walking downwards. I have never seen any fort like that anywhere else ! That feeling of starting from the road and ending at the sea level was too good, cant ever forget !

Next time on your visit please try to visit this place called "Neel garden" this is on the way from Kashid to Mururd in a village called Nandgaon, they serve good food too, try their Prawns thali ,also in nandgaon there is this Ganpati mandir one should visit it has been there since many years and has historical importance also, the statue or lord Ganesh is extremely pleasing an you must have seen "Khokari tombs" which was in Murud next time do make a stop there an enjoy your sunset.

As always superb episode. Interaction with local people and their language is great. Kashid beach I visited about 2 years ago in summer time was looks pure white sand beach, due to rainy season it looks different. Last the list dinner looks so tasty, it was mouth watering. Thank you Harish sir 👍❤️

Please come to Sawantwadi too. You can visit nearby places such as Amboli Ghat, Ragnagad, Malwan, Tarkali(scuba the best in Maharashtra and Goa), Dhamapur(famous lake and temple) besides a lot of virgin beaches. Also come and try the cuisine at our place.

Rashta mein ek hotel per break fast kar rehie tha tu suddenly i remembered to Ep 3 for kerala tour..waha per aa na kaha tha ki povar zoor jana.. then we all went to povar we enjoy boat ride..
