You are one of the only channels who I watch that have mentioned this album! Seems to be completely ignored by almost all the popular community You Tube channels! I wonder why?

The QR code for the track listing is interesting, but I also prefer the traditional way of listing the tracks on the jacket (and if possible the label). I get the sense with a lot of modern vinyl package designs, and Beyonce in particular, that: (1) they don't really design with record listeners in mind at all; and (2) a lot of people who buy these records buy them more to have as a type of souvenir than to listen to. My wife, for example, has some records by Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, etc. but most often she will listen by streaming from her phone to her bluetooth speaker (though she does listen to her records occasionally).
The though that some modern music fans would purchase a vinyl album as a souvenir did no acure to me at all; From that perspective I can partially understand but I still prefer the traditional way.

I got my copy of the album the day after it was released it showed up. I haven't gotten to listen to it yet. I also have a lossless FLAC version of the album, also 44.1kHz 24 bit like yours. With that one I listened to Texas Hold 'Em to compare it to the TH-cam Music stream. I knew in advance it wasn't going to have all of the tracks, but didn't know it wouldn't have a physical tracklist... Not even labeled on the disc labels! I don't remember if you've ever mentioned your age but I'm guessing I'm about half your age maybe a little more, and I guess I'm old fashioned or old school as well because to me an album should have the track listing.. I'm also a little upset it's not a boxed set like act: i Renaissance was. That's a much nicer package overall in my opinion. I like that the cover is different to the digital version, but it would have been nice to stick with the horse theme for all of the acts: i, ii and iii. Great review as always Kenny
As of the posting of the video, I'm 63. Not having a track listing does not make any sense to me but I guess it's something that I'm going to have to get use to. I hope that you enjoy the album ✌️

Good morning Kenny. Thanks for the review. I am still on the fence especially if the vinyl version has less songs. I like the song YaYa as do many people I have spoken with. Maybe a “Deluxe” version later on with all of the songs included.
As far as no track listing, I live in NYC and have gone to restaurants with no paper menus. Pull out your phone, scan the QR code and order your meal.
It’s technology. 😂
Good morning... for Beyonce fans it would be great for a vinyl album release of the album with all of the songs, I would buy it but it would be a 3 LP set and more money 💰 ...I think some of here serious fans would purchase it. I have also been to restaurants that the menu is a QR code 😊...I can deal with it better on a menu than a album 😄
Kenny, first thanks for the comparison. I want to understand your baseline so I can interpret your findings properly. I know you purchase SACDs and I'm wondering if you've purchased an SACD from analogue production where they use the same source and likely mastering for both the vinyl and the digital version (ideally by the same mastering engineer). If so, how did the two sound on on your system. I'm just wondering how different your digital vs. analog rig sound in comparison to each other with least amount of variables and sources where both are chosen for the highest quality playback vs. a record like Beyonce which may be all over the place between a digital version vs. the vinyl version.
The Analogue Productions Steely Dan Aja SACD and vinyl record I believe came from the same source and mastering engineer. The vinyl version especially the UHQR version sound better..a link to my video is below

In my opinion, in very good to high end systems, the vinyl record will sound a bit better than the digital source, all things being equal, that point has been made by several high end audiophiles like Michael Fremer or Chad Kassem.
In terms of the Beyonce digital album, I have numerous examples of digital music that sounds considerably better than her digital album although hers sounds good.
Hahaha. It's definitely not being old-fashioned which would make you critical of tracklist displays. I also want to see a tracklist as I'm listening to an album, and I also want all the songs to be on the album. As far as tracklistings go as far as having all the songs on an album occurs on digital format's sometimes as well. If I were to buy an album I expect the full package in sound, songs, and full length. One of the issues that's going on as modern listeners is not too many people especially the youth in their 20's or 30's expect much out of musicians for the most part accept mid range material which when there isn't high demand, there isn't high quality. It makes me wonder if technology is evolving while humans are not?
I guess that must be the case. I'm not necessarily in Beyonce's demographic in terms of a fan base and you are probably correct that modern fan's expectations are a bit different 😳
Probably her weakest work. Disappointing
