It's crazy that blackbeard was on whitebeard's crew for years and was so lowkey he had no bounty, even chopper has a bounty lol.
Yet again, there are a lot of pirates on a Yonko crew to the point where not every single member is accounted for.
Luffy only had a handful of members literally while whitebeard has thousands so it's easy not to be recognized in WB crew
He had a bounty and it was zero

I think blackbeard will most likely go after kaido's devil fruit for two reasons:
1) blackbeard dark power make him high suseptible to physical damage, he might have a special body but against yonkos and world government big guns he might not be able to handle it. So having the dragon fruit will grant him enough vitality and resiliance to make up for that.
2) Considering that he already has the strongest logia and paramicia devil fruits, the next logical step would be the strongest zoan fruit, that goes in line with the cerberus theory.

Idk. I feel as if Blackbeard is only strong against ranged fighters, when luffy is an upclose fighter. Say Blackbeard sucks him in and disables his fruit, luffy can just Haki punch him in the face, and there would be nothing he could do about it. Unless there are more powers to his fruit he doesn’t seem that strong

The funny thing is Luffy single-handedly open each door for Blackbeard.
Luffy doesn't know it but he is secretly helping the guy who killed his brother Ace
Luffy never does anything intentionally to help his opposition. Teach is an opportunist and Luffy seems to offer opportunities at very convenient times due to his personality and his actions. Impel Down was Luffy trying to save his brother just as Ace decided not to allow Teach to go after Luffy. Each situation is a matter of personal choice which ends up offering a skilled opportunist the possibility of benefitting.
Don’t worry. Luffy will slam the door on Blackbeard at the end.
BlackBeard litually opened the door to Marine Ford for Luffy.

My theory is Still that just like Black Beard and the Marines are aware that TottoLand is weakened, so does Shanks.
Now I'm no genius but if I was in Shank's sandals I would be watching that place like a hawk, Hell he might just pull up and have a talk with Katakuri (Whose most likely in charge) and make a temporary alliance to boost defenses.
I'm not saying he has to clean up Big Mom's mess, but my point is after all the shit that Black Beard has done so far, I don't think Shanks could ignore this.
This is really plausible, considering the red-haired pirates will definitely fight the blackbeard pirates, as it was shown in the anime after shanks arrive at marineford. They were given their match-ups, except for aokiji, since he wasn't part of bb's crew back then. So it makes sense that shanks might ally with katakuri to fend off bb and his crew. But bb has his 10 titanic captains(including aokiji, if it is aokiji) while shanks only has 9 top fighters(again, as of what is shown in their match-ups in marineford). So i'm going to assume katakuri will fight against aokiji. Tho imo blackbeard might win this one, kill shanks and get the poneglyph.
There is much that Blackbeard can do. Come to think of it, is Aokiji considered a member of the crew or an ally. I seem to recall that Burgess doesn't trust the former admiral that much.

Blackbeard, a darker version of Luffy. The captain of a crew that seems to be a mirror version of the Strawhats in some ways, the only man to ever have the powers of two devil fruits and a planner who managed to orchestrate a plan to kill a Yonko and take his place. Certainly a threat to watch out for. Not someone that the Strawhats or anyone else should take lightly. Oh yes, I almost forgot he is also one of the people responsible for Luffy losing his brother. So not only does Luffy have him as a target because he is a Yonko, but he has a personal reason for fighting this man. I look forward to it when it happens.
Maybe you only get killed eating a devil fruit if it is of the same category and in that case someone ate two paramecias and got exploded

Well if anything it's more of Teech having a unique body like Big Mom or simply put he did some required research and I'd the key reason he remained unknown until he could get ahold of Yami Yami no mi.

BB is at the simplest term just a pirate and does what he wants to do weather that's a good idea or a bonkers idea. Either way i like BB even more that Luffy at times cause he is A BOSSSSSSSSSSS
I wouldn't say he's dumb sometimes. It's just that he gets overconfident.
He also has a tendency to let his guard down which seems to be a part of his overconfidence. For instance, when he informed Luffy that his brother was only in danger of dying because he was protecting him and that Blackbeard himself was the reason for Impel Down happening, he seemed to forget that this might anger Luffy. He didn't seem to realize that Luffy might decide to attack him in response. Same thing with his fight against Whitebeard, the old man even stated that Teach was overconfident and careless.
Overconfidence is definitely a weakness for Blackbeard. That’s not to say that he doesn’t deserve to be somewhat cocky. If anyone deserves to be cocky, it’s this sob who triggered a major war, played both sides off one another, and came out the sole victor. But if he doesn’t tone it down, he might regret it.

1:28 going with that idea, he could have 3 personalities:
1. The tactician
2. An arrogant fool (this one took on Ace)
3. A determined man who is pursuing his dream to become King of the Pirates
I think it might be possible that Personality 3 might actually be his original self, corrupted over time by the OP abilities he obtained through the Yami Yami no Mi. The other 2 personalities could be something like the multiple personalities of Sensui from Yu Yu Hakusho- alternate selves, created to ease Blackbeard’s conscience as he commits various evil deeds; he might subconsciously tell himself, “It was the tactician who set that up,” or “it was that arrogant idiot who almost ruined things for me.”

When we first meet him he is so different, I am leaning towards the theory that he has multiple personalities OR over time the Darkness fruit has corrupted his soul. I am sure Oda has big plans for him and when he is finally dealt with, His backstory will be great. I'm not a BB supporter like some but I can see that he is a great character and a true pirate.

Oh Blackbeard will definitely go after the other Yonkou first chance he gets, and he has that chance now. Totland's strongest are in Kaido's turf, which is on the verge of a revolution, leaving both crews in a weakened state. Black Beard could take advantage of Luffy's bouts with them to cripple, if not completely annihilate two formidable forces.

It would be an excellent opportunity for him to repeat his victory at Marineford or a reasonable facsimile thereof. There have been theories that he might appear on Wano or his forces might as well as the theories that he might take Big Mom's territory. He might try both or neither depending on what the Navy does. He will need to be wary of them as well. Still, I expect him to do something as a result of the clash. He is too smart not to see opportunity in current events to further his goals.

Great video, with just one small error to be amended. He joined the Whitebeard crew with the specific intent of finding the Yami Yami no Mi. He speculated that joining Whitebeard's crew would maximize his chances of finding it.
So he had access to the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia, or an equivalent, even before he sailed with the Whitebeard pirates.

You should make a video about the idea of two 'will of D' characters, luffy and black bread starting their fresh journey at the same time and seeing the protagonist and antagonist story play out and how they cross and how they will meet up at the end of their journey. I like to think after Rogers death, Blackbeard approached Shanks to create a crew but Shanks refused because Teach probably told him his plan to become the king of the pirates and Shanks didn’t like the idea so Teach used his wolverine claws and gave him the scar on his face
Last edit: he could possibly have Luffy and the supernovas do the dirty work and when the times right, that’s when his chance of opportunity can show up
Anyone could have. But he has to figurative and literal plot armor. He's not a good fighter. He's just implacable. He basically has the same distinction of invincibility as Kaido or Big Mom just none of the actual power...at least not before the Time Skip.

Monty2289 yeah I agree, I don’t think he’s smart at all it’s all based off luck and fate, he is a easy target to attack but practically indestructible. There we’re times he could’ve died but his endurance and luck was the reason why he’s still isn’t dead. But he can possibly still had a plan in mind before but as what Tekking said, things happened that led him to change his direction so he can be plotting but things get altered as he goes on with his plan

Blackbeard might come up with relatively decent schemes like with marineford and impel down but him going against Magellan and him gloating while fighting ace about killing thatch have to be two of his biggest idiotic ideas ever and as far as who won the war, Tekking if you think about it since Blackbeard ultimately played both sides during the war in some method he technically could be almost somewhat akin to aizen in a manner of speaking since aizen killed the central 46 and used what the last batch to get rukia back to further his plan like with Blackbeard and the warlord position and World Government
I think the true mark of the Will of D is the recklessness and willingness to leave everything to a roll of the dice at critical moments that we’ve seen both Luffy and Blackbeard show.
Colton Williams while that actually does seem to be how things seem to go but Blackbeard does seem somewhat akin to aizen since aizen sort of played the field as it were since he used Ichigo and his friends invading as a way to keep the squads otherwise busy for a while before toshiro and unohana started sniffing around

Hey Tekking , with the recent episode in one piece, episode 888, they show a somewhat younger version of Kuma when Sabo tries to rescue him. It caught my attention that Kuma's facial structure really resembles Whitebeards facial Structure.
