As a protestant, I must thank you for the light you have shone on the Feast of Epiphany. Thank you.

The colors of your new yarn are so beautiful together I actually exclaimed out loud! Can't wait to see how they turn out in a project.

I enjoyed your sharing the Knitting for Tommy book and the mention of Hamilton, Ontario citizens knitting for the war effort in the Great War. Hamilton is my hometown and my Dad was a schoolboy at that time. He told of he and his classmates knitting socks for the soldiers in school.

Oh, that color combo is fantastic! In Venezuela, Spain and other Latin countries, February 2nd is the feast of Our Lady of Candelaria (I guess that's the connection to Candlemass). The tradition is that you have a sweet bread to share on The Epiphany day and one lucky person will get the token hidden inside the bread. This person then has to host a party on The Candelaria's day!

Enjoyed today's video . Thank you. I've also decided to use revelry more just add my current project. A butterfly prayer shawl I'm making from a Scheepjes whirl. I'm really loving the process. It has enough difficulty to keep my engaged. Missed the notification of new stories up on your other channel. I'll enjoy those I'm sure. HLPH Lisa

I've just discovered your videos and you are such a breath of fresh air. The Malabrigo colors are beautiful together. I hope you find a suitable pattern for them. I will be watching your other videos because as I sit here and work on a Tunisian 10-stitch blanket, I also get history lessons and I do love history. Keep up the excellent work and happy stitching.

I'm so glad that you are enjoying my videos. I just talk about the things that interest me and hope that they interest others too. My Tunisian blanket is one of the projects I have to finish before I'm allowed to start anything else: although I may not stick to that resolution. Happy stitching to you too!

Love your Malabrigo yarn. Gorgeous colors. I think you gave a great explanation of Ephiphany. I agree with you on using the old calendar. I don't like to shift our holy days to accommodate the modern world. For that matter, I don't like that here in the US, we've moved a lot of holidays to the nearest Monday so that most working people get a 3 day weekend. I guess I'm a bit of a crank in that regard. :-)
