Ubisoft should launch a multiplayer version (online only) with songs from all the JD games. It would only be fair like that and probably have more control
there is a very easy way to solve the problem which is buying just dance 2022 because of just dance unlimited and then buy just dance 2024 which allows you to play just dance+
It seems odd that they would not have just made it the same subscription and you could access both unlimited and plus with the same payment. Would have removed the problem with plus having less content and would have boosted 22+23 sales...
They announced the first update but 4 songs in total, is definetly very weak (at least we get Bangarang and No Tears Left To Cry), but I do hope that we will get more songs fast

JD2022 still has way better value now. It's frequently on sale, but even at its 59,99$CAD regular price, you add in an Unlimited cost of 29,99$CAD annually and you get 728 songs for 90$. Compare that to JD2023 where you pay more (79,99$CAD) plus the + cost of 29,99$ for a grand total of 110$ for less than 200 songs... I see absolutely no point in buying this unless you absolutely cannot wait to dance to JD23 choreos...
made me switch the whole platform just to not be able to dance to any songs i like from previous dance... now it's just catching dust because it's a hassle to switch consoles all the time :))))))))) (especially as a (as someone else called it) fitness user, who puts on their playlist and plays for however long and takes a shower XD :')) it's SO disappointing.

Thanks for making this video!! I’m a big just dance fan and even though I don’t play it as often as I use to. I do love to dance and play this game now and then to give my body the fitness it needs, while also having fun. Knowing about the this new subscription service lets me know about the songs they would be releasing in the upcoming months so I don’t get bored and keep playing the same songs over and over especially when I know the choreography. I’ll still get just dance 2023 so that I can Add it to my collection but as far as I know I’ll most likely keep using JD2022 to play some of the songs that aren’t in JD+ but rather in ‘unlimited’
Although I bought jd23, I will renew JD22 because it has more songs and I can create my playlists and dance in sweat and random mode, which is what I like and neither JD23 nor JD+ allow. I'll wait as many years as it takes until JD is JD Unlimited again (more songs and playlists).
Hey! Since you have both JD2022 and JD2023, can you help me out with something? I tried the demo for 2023 and I couldn't play local co-op with personalized names for the aditional players. Do you know if it is possible? I have older versions of the game (2015, 2018...) and it was possible to have many dance cards in the same console
Im relly annoyed at just dance this year . Yes I like the new style but now we can’t make profiles or playlist and no sweat mode. And there’s was relly no reason to make just dance plus just keep unlimited with all the songs we love. Also we used fo get rewards when we got a new game sayinf we found save data from a old game and you could save or old avatar and get a special name tag. This year they dident do that. Overall I’m still useing unlimited I just wish they had all of the unlimited songs AND ABBA
Yeah, I actually dont understand why they're phasing out Unlimited, I feel like they'd get more subs. I believe that there are other benefits that Unlimited didn't have, but until we see them, we cant know for sure.
Just so you know, there actually is a reward if you owned a previous game. I forget what it was, but I think it was an avatar and a name tag. If you hover over stuff in the locker room u can see how to unlock them, so it might take a bit of time to find the reward, but it will tell you how to redeem it once you find the right one. I think it will take you to the Ubisoft connect page to redeem them, so if you know how to get there, I think you can find it there. Love the pfp btw :)

Yes I’m also annoyed at this year’s just dance but all that can change when they update the new game I remember back in JD2019 (I believe) you couldn’t create a playlist but when they updated it now you were able to. So maybe we don’t have the modes we are so used to, but it’s not too late the for people who worked on the game to add it. It just takes time!
I don't have a subscription to JDU rigjt now but I had it and loved the old JD wii songs! So much nostalgia and they are easier too which is nice for someone as uncoordinated as me. It's a bit too expensive to pay for an annual subscription tbh but I occasionally buy a month (like once or twice a year?) when I dance a lot
After playing both 2022 and 2023, the only bummer with 2022 is it doesn’t have the new BTS songs and they were SO FUN. What sucks is I can’t even play it at home because I only have an Xbox one and want to put off upgrading for a while.
I just bought Unlimited for JD 2022 today. And just learned about Plus today as well. At first I was like ‘Oh no… did I just buy Unlimited for another year when they’re gotta shut it down in a few months or something and replace it?’ But I hope that is not the case if they supported JD games from as old as 2016 until now. So hopefully Plus will just slowly be replacing it, that only the new games come with Plus instead until they released so many new ones with it that they deem the old ones (with Unlimited) ‘too old’. It does suck though that eventually it’ll just end and I’ll end up having a JD game with base songs that I mostly dislike. I really couldn’t wait for JD 2023 to come out at the time, because then I had to wait for another year. Unlimited is a lot better, you can make playlists, have +700 songs, the only reason why just dance + is popular cuz they’re adding songs that weren’t on unlimited for years

Its just them moving to a newer service, but I think the core reason (now that i think about it) is likely that they're gonna lose the license to some of the music soon. Moving to a new platform might sound better than just straight up eliminating a bunch of music from a service, IDK

Just dance plus sucks as well as the new just dance games. They are not putting in any effort into them, only visually. They even messed up on Proud Mary, putting it in the just 3 section instead of just dance 2

For some reason when i go to the store to activate the free trial at my profile. It says its temporary not available.... can someone please explain what is going on, im so confused and im dieing to actually be playing more songs than the only 40 songs just dance 2022 came with!
like overally 100 or 200 songs from just dance all past games (like from 1-2017) for example rihanna songs in the service, aren't in just dance unlimited because of licencing issues. but 1st august we will say goodbye to 200 songs, half of which aren't even in just dance plus, and even some songs that were since launch of just dance unlimited will say goodbye. And on 1st July all options of Unlimited to buy will be unlisted :c for list of being removed songs simply google "just dance unlimited updates" and the ubisoft news article will appear.

Just Dance Plus is available through the list of songs. Scroll to the bottom of the list and you'll see the Just Dance Plus songs pop up.

Hmm. Check Ubi's website and see if they're stopping Unlimited subscriptions? They may be migrating more resources to Plus now.

i think you made a mistake, just dance unlimited's servers for just dance 2016, 2017 & 2018 already shut down

I took the information from the Ubisoft website, so if they've closed it early, thats not good that they're saying its active until 2023.
No they are not shut down. The servers will be shut on 30th June 2023

It‘s just stupid… I don‘t understand why they don‘t release just dance as an unlimited subscription from now on. Instead they are completely unnecessarily overhauling the system and screwing people over…… ubisoft just can‘t get things right it seems

Remove as in get a refund? Thats a ubisoft issue, but i imagine it would be a tough one to sort out

They're transitioning to it with the same amount of starting music, but honestly; when you think about it, theres no reason why Unlimite couldn't have been moved over.
