Great to see KISS in their creative process. You can see their dedication in producing the best that they can, which is what everyone wants, the best!

We need footage like this from the 70’s! ❤

They probably didn't allow any filming for fear that someone would show it to a news outlet and reveal what they looked like. KISS did not record in makeup.

Preferably from the ‘78 solo albums with all the other great names.

I have a feeling that management didn't have time to set up video recording because the band was very busy with planning the next 6 months. Then you had the issue where the band didn't spend much time in the studio because the next tour was booked. Hindsight is 20/20 and I'm sure Kiss should have or could have but it was not in the cards

i know it's not the same thing, but there's footage of KISS playing at Ace's wedding 1976. That's pretty cool to see.

@@louisborselio8608......for fear to show that the real guitar player was Dick Wagner or Bob Kulick and the real drummer was Anton Fig....original line up began dismantling already in '76......

I remember these vividly. What a great times when we heard a new KISS music. A to my ear... a good KISS music. I really, really like Sonic Boom. Sadly can't say these praises about Monster.

Gene's bass tone is so damn good. Classic, looks like his Ripper through an SVT. Thought it might be the Grabber but that one has 2 pickups so it's definitely a Ripper. Can't see the varitone switch due to the lighting. Everyone sounds great.

Those last 2 KISS were not to be big time sellers like those classic 70s KISS albums. No original lineup on both of the albums but Sonic Boom was the closest sound to the original lineup on all the songs from the 70s KISS albums

Hardly anyone buys CDs anymore so obviously sales are never going to be as good as when physical media was the only way to access music. I know streams are being counted in certifications now but it takes a ton of them to equal one sold record

Sonic Boom and Monster are ok but not even in my top 20 kiss albums and both failed to make Gold ! This line up was together 22 yrs and had only 2 new studio albums and failed to make single gold record ! I know it hard to get Gold records today But still find it odd they call sell tickets at live shows but can't sell a Gold record since Psycho Circus !?
