Helpful content. In my early 30's. Been a cop for 8 years after getting a bachelors in business Econ. Looking to make a career change but intimidated by my age and lack of experience.

I have an interview tomorrow with a recruiter for a business systems analyst position so I'm trying to understand more about the position. I've got experience at an MSP in their NOC and as a technical support specialist but this job is something new to me. One of the questions I'm confused about is whether or not the position requires you to have to code.

I am about to start a BA job soon. I am in IT but in a different field, so this role is a first for me. Is being a BA super stressful? Are you happy being a BA?

@@nguyenbaohuy8638 Hi, since I have already experienced it, I will answer my own questions. Yes it can be very stressfull because you have to meet deadlines, you have to attend and conduct endless meetings, and you have to make sure that the DEVELOPERS and the USERS and the MANAGEMENT have all the same goals on the project and everyone is happy 🤗

@@nguyenbaohuy8638 you can 100% do it no doubt. Just fake it till you make it, that's what I do 😂😂
Btw I was also a system admin before I moved to BA (Unix/Linux)
What you will love about the BA compared to System Admin is the schedule 😂 BA has a normal life. Weekends off, no night shifts 🤗 Good luck 🤞

I took.1 class at University of Redlands gking into SDLC. That was a great class in learning requirements.
Yet the actual coding class. O tginknit was visual basic? Oop? Oh my. I wish I had known more about caterers using SDLC in 2009 when I graduated!
