My grandfather & family migrated from larkana,sindh,Pakistan to India in 1947 he always told me that it was the most wealthy & well known city in that area in that era.

Thank you for showing us Larkana. I always thought that Larkana would have been a developed city (at least to a Lahore or Karachi level) because it is the major constituency of PPP leaders. I am astonished to see that this city is just like a third-world city and no major development in the city. No better infrastructure except one bridge. No International scale things. It is true that PPP or other leaders of the area are keeping the people under control mentally and litracy-wise. I wish Larkana would have been having major developments and a center or a hub for education, medical research, and scientific developments because that is what a futuristic leader can do. Alas.

Larkana is a developed city. Larkana also has good education institutes and hospitals like medical university engineering college business school cancer hospital and many more and an airport which is not shown in the video.

Why was the hindu sindhi community virtually eliminated after partition; were we not idigenous before the mohajirs from up and bihar came. I personally can nostalgically identify with the towns of sindh
Same way as muslim communities were eliminated in India! Senseless and destructive hate and religious prejudice! In the seventies we saw this bigotry develop under Zia-ul-Haq's so called "Islamization" in Pakistan! Now we are seeing this happening under Modi's Hindutva in India! Untill we eliminate this hate South Asia cannot prosper!
Your perception is not correct. Yours is a bias.
Muslims are freely engaged in religous activities and have prospered significantly because they are absolutely united on fridays. More so in recent times they appear to be coming in droves as they are becoming economically significant from the gulf areas. They have an inbuilt trait of passive resistance which is enabling them to prosper. Infact i am facing a case of reverse discrimination. It was wrong, in my view, for jinnah to ask for a separate country to begin with. Everything would have been sorted out in due course. In my opinion language links are much stronger than religous ones. Another thing is that, in rome do as the romans. Peace will then prevail. Hindus are not militant, per se, but the traits of islam are. Why is it that i feel more for the sindhi muslims than for the mohajir community at large. If i was gifted i would definitely help the downtrodden amongst my own sindhi community muslims living in pakistan, because i feel for them. I would not want to risk conversion to islam, forced or otherwise if i was to live in an professed islamic country. The spirit of tolerance, brotherhood and restraint, must be enforcedly prevail and righteously. In every place in india, muslims are living, prospering and helping their own; if you have any doubts on this accòunt, come to lndia and see for yourself, by living here for an extended period of time to form your opinion. Our hindu sindhi poulation were relatively small in numbers and we were compelled to flee for our lives and as an aftermath had lost the lives of our near and dear ones out of the shock waves of partition. I cannot speak for other members of my community but i can speak for myself. I am proud of my country and being an indian and venture to say that i do love my country, as i do have complete faith and trust in our communities across linguistic barriers.

karachi and hyderabad are non sindhi majority so they removed sindhi from schools, muhajirs opposing our culture and imposing their urdu hindi over sindh
